From His heart to yours...
How many times do we wonder where God is. We pray and pray; but yet we can't seem to feel His presence anywhere.
Could it be that we feel distant because we are? Is the path we're walking down...a path that only takes us to where we feel He wants us to go; rather than the path He truly longs for us to go?
Everything in our lives should always be about Him, rather than what we feel should be; otherwise, we find through time; that our own thoughts have sidetracked us and taken us down some detour road; that only makes life more complicated. 
We should never see God as second best; but rather, He should always be our first choice, in everything pertaining to our lives. When we truly know that it's His counsel that is leading the way; then we will also know that He is close by...on a path this is fragrant with His loving presence, which will stop us from second guessing or doubting His ways. 
Can we say that our words match up with our hearts; in a way where God can truly see the desire we long for...a desire for Him to work and walk us through these difficult moments we're facing?
When we choose to not make it work our way; then we do find that a way has been opened, for Him to accomplish His work...His way...which is the only way it will work.
We must remember that running from a problem isn't the way to walk out of a problem; but rather, one foot in front of the other, will help us to walk in His ways, while remaining on the only path that will eventually walk us out of the dark storms, into the sunshine of His blessings. 
Instead of wondering where God is and whether He has forsaken us or not; our prayer should always be... "God, don't ever give up on me; but rather, keep me under your almighty wings; where your eye is always upon me."
How often do we forget or not even think; that the way we see these difficult times can either cause us to feel drawn to God's side...or make us feel distant from His presence.
Today, can we say that we are allowing our circumstances to dictate the way before us...or are we allowing God to truly see our hearts desire...a desire to walk down a path of God's own choosing, while always pursuing His presence...One who can work on our behalf, to keep us free and distant from despair. Remember...whatever we pursue in life; that is where we will end up in life; so take hold of the One who already knows the way...and never let go!
