*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours, be the hope that can keep you
pressing on, even when you feel as if God has abandoned you.
So many times we wonder why God is taking us down the long and difficult roads of life. These times can make us feel as if we made a wrong turn, as the pleasant things of life are no longer before us. Instead of flowers...there are dried weeds growing along the way...and instead of a straight and easy path to follow; we seem to be seeing the path filled with ruts and obstacles, which are only making it difficult to press on. Even the sun that once shown so brightly is now hidden behind stormy clouds, while the path becomes fearful before us.
How can this be a path directed by God? Where is His presence, as I walk in the midst of this unknown path? We must remember that as we walk through life...that the sun won't always be shining...and the path may not always be an easy one; for our path is being led and directed by the hand of almighty God...and sometimes the rain must fall and the path become difficult and narrow; that we might reach out and lean on a God, who can carry us through these moments. Even though these paths we walk down may not always make us feel connected to God; we must remember that He has not abandoned us; for these paths are walking us to a better future...one that will draw us closer to Him and the very best that He has for our lives.
The thing we need to remember to; is to not leave the path and attempt to make the way better for ourselves; because even though this may seem to be a better route; these times will only make us distant from the One, who truly knows the best route for us to walk down...plus going our own way will only sidetrack us, from the true plan and purpose that God has for our lives.
Remember...the all-powerful...all-knowing God knows what He is doing. In fact...He's had our lives planned out, even before He created us...and these plans are to care for us and to give us a brighter future...so trust Him, to lead the way for you. You will never regret it...I know; for this is the path I once traveled.
