Based on Psalm 46

*Let this God inspired writing...from his heart to yours,
be a reminder that God is always there to run to, during times of trouble.
God becomes a refuge during times of trouble. His presence alone becomes a shield that prevents the fiery darts of evil, from penetrating the soul.
When we choose to make Him our God...above all else; then He stands before us, as a mighty warrior...One who takes the blows of evil upon Himself; that we might remain sustained and strengthened in Him.
There is nothing to fear, when we truly know that He is near...even if the wind and waves attempt to take us down to nothing...for this love that He has for us, will go beyond anything, to care for us.
We can be walking down the path of his choosing and find ourselves standing in the rubble, of a broken moment; but He will not leave us there...for He will come and make something new, out of each broken piece and cause us to remain standing, as if nothing had gone wrong.
This God, who lovingly longs to care for us; is untouchable...and is above all things, including the hand of evil. How else can we be moved, when we have chosen to take refuge in a God who cannot be moved? Only the moments when we choose to stand alone; do we experience the damaging effects of the storm. Even while being sheltered and surrounded, by a power that no other can rise above; do we come to see that we have all we need, to sustain us through the storm.
The Lord is always up and ready, to outstretch His merciful hand to us. He is always on time, even when we may be slow, to move in His direction.
No matter what attempts to take us down...and no matter how dismal or bleak life may seem around us; these moments never remain in control of our lives, when a powerful God steps into the picture...for the Lord is always with us...watching everything that concerns us, while always ready to fight on our behalf. The question we should ask ourselves is this... "Are we taking refuge in God?" If not; then we will come to experience the full blown effect of a circumstance; that God never intended for us to walk through.
When we truly know that God is close by...to run to, during times of trouble; then our minds won't be overwhelmed by the troubled moments standing before us; but rather, we will always be able to settle back...and rest in the thought; that our God will always be there to run to, during a time of need.
