Based on Philippians 1:29-30

*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours;
give you hope and inspiration, as you suffer for the cause of Christ.
Life has it's moments, when we feel the struggles more than any other thing. The weight of each problem; that attempts to weaken us and take us down, begins to make the journey that much more difficult. As we lean more on God; it seems that the presence of evil begins to override those moments and make us feel, as if we will never make it through these times.
How is it that these battles never cease to rage within us? It seems as though the flame of evil continues to get hotter and hotter, until we can no longer stand the heat of this trial; that seems to be burning deep within us. How can these flames be quenched completely? Even then do the ashes remain; that only reminds us of the fiery trial that once took place.
Could it be that we have forgotten the price we pay, for following Christ? Have we become so caught up in the continual battles...and the wounds that have attempted to take us down; that we have also forgotten the price that was once paid for us...through other moments of suffering? Why wouldn't the enemy come after us, as followers of Christ...especially since Christ was the One that defeated him at the cross. "It is not only that we believe in Christ; but also suffer for His sake...having the same conflict, which we saw in Him."
These battles that continually take a toll on us, only stem from an evil; that is fighting and attempting to remove our souls, from the presence of God; but when we can overcome, in the same way Christ has overcome; then this long journey of battles will walk us into a place, where evil will forever be defeated within our lives.
Remember...it's easy to say "I Love You," when everything is fine; but what about the moments that weigh you down in spirit. Is your love for Christ greater than anything you may suffer through for Him?
