*Let this God inspired writing...from God's heart to yours, help you to remain lifted up
and drawn closer to God, during difficult times of despair.
A circumstance has a way of overwhelming us, while bringing our hearts down to a level of weakness; where the heart becomes an easy target to other moments of despair. Why do we allow these moments to take place in our lives, when we can easily shift our attention to a God of hope? Don't we realize that when we allow ourselves to be further drawn into evil; then evil will continue to have its way with us?
Now isn't the time to let the ways of evil control our hearts; but rather, it's time to praise a God, who can remove us from the evil web that trapped us, during one moment of weakness.
Thinking and meditating on the Lords past moments of kindness will help to draw us out of these gloomy and depressing moments of despair. When we think back to moments, when waves of sorrow once overtook us; we will also be reminded of the day to day moments, when God's unfailing love shielded us, from further moments; that could have led us to a place of total destruction. Just knowing that God gave us life once, will help us to see that He will always be there, to give us life once more.
How is it that we choose to believe the words of deception...words that become bait from the evil one...to lure us deeper into despair? Don't we realize that when we allow ourselves to be drawn into the negative and enticing words of Satan; that we can easily find ourselves hooked onto them, which will only lead us into the murky waters; that can darken our way?
Let us ask ourselves today, as to why we allow our heads to be brought low, during the hard times? Have we already forgotten about a God who remains and will always remain greater than weakness? Maybe it's that we have bowed our heads low to the circumstance, rather than lifting our heads above the circumstance...to fix our eyes on this powerful God? Today, it's time for us to choose who we will serve...the circumstance or a living God.
