*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours, help you to remain committed
to God, during the difficult and uncertain moments of life.
As we look back on our lives Lord, we see times when You blessed us, in ways that seemed overflowing. The path before us seemed straight, with the sunshine of Your presence shining down around us, as the fragrance of Your presence brought beauty to our eyes.
Now those times have changed and the path before us seems broken, with weeds replacing the sweet fragrance of flowers that once grew along the path. The skies have darkened and instead of the sunshine of your presence; a storm seems to be brewing in the distance of the horizon.
Where have you gone to Lord? Why have you left our side, while allowing this storm to enter our path? Don't You know Lord; that we believe in You? Don't You see that we can't make it without your power...entering moments such as these? If You would only come to us...we know in our hearts that we could push through these hard times; for we don't trust in ourselves alone...for only through You; are we able to obtain victory over the enemy...but Lord...it seems as though You have walked away or turned your face from us...as we are now living with pain, heartache...and the struggles of this life. Why is this so?
There is one thing we must always remember...and that is that a good God does not bring the bad things into our lives...for only evil can produce evil; but there are times, when He allows Satan to afflict us...to a certain degree; that we may be tested...to see how devoted we truly are to Him. In other words...will we find ourselves clinging to God even more or will we find ourselves more distant from Him, during the difficult times? A true commitment to God can keep us pressing on, while always pursuing and seeking Him, until we find Him...but a relationship with God that only looks for what they can receive from Him alone, will only become a path of discouragement, when He's not easily found and prayers are not automatically answered.
These hard times we go through, can seem to be the very worst; but one thing we know...the one who never gives up...but keeps pressing on, will see that they are making it, by the sustaining power of God, even when the answer to the problem can't be easily found...for they will never give up on pursuing their God's help, until the time comes, when the trial has reached it's end...and a merciful God has arisen to the cries of their hearts.
