*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours; teach you how to gain a perfect
peace that can help you to overcome all the symptomatic feelings;
that attempt to keep you deeply connected to a problem.
In the stillness of a night, there is a peace like no other. It's not a peace that comes by my own means; but a peace that is perfect and ongoing...a peace that can take any troubled moment and make it as calm as a glassy sea.
This peace I speak of isn't a temporal peace that comes and goes with the things of this world that once brought a peace-filled moment of happiness; but rather, it enters the heart, from the prince of all peace. In other words, it's a special gift from His heart to ours; that when opened, gives eternal peace of mind and heart, to the one who is broken in spirit. This peace that comes from God's heart to our hearts, isn't a fragile peace that can be broken or age with time; but rather, this peace is a gift that keeps giving and once it's implanted deep within the heart, we don't have to feel troubled or afraid because this perfect peace will always keep us connected to the One, who can hold us close and calm the moments that can make life seem so out of control
You ask me...how do I receive this perfect peace? It comes to the one, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord. When our minds are fixed on the problem; then instead of God's perfect peace...we will reap the anxiety, fear, frustration and overwhelming feelings that stem from that problem, which now keeps us more deeply connected to the problem; but when our thoughts turn away from the problem...to focus on God; then that connection will allow a peace like no other, to flow through that connection, which in turn keeps our minds and hearts quiet, even when the fiercest storm is surrounding us.
Once our hearts begin to fill up with this perfect peace...that only comes from God; then these moments cause us to trust in this perfect peace-filled God...and from there, strength becomes another gift; that keeps us standing through the harsh moments of the storm. With time, we truly come to see that we can keep pressing on with God's everlasting strength, while our hearts and minds remain quiet and at peace with God...Amen!!
