Hello everyone... “Happy Monday”…and a big welcome today, to “A New Day of New Hope Blog”…through the Risen Hope Ministries! Well…it’s time to begin another new week…are you ready…I know I am! As we begin today…I pray that God will truly renew us with a hope that will keep us standing and pressing on…through every day of this brand new week!
You know…it’s so easy to find ourselves believing in the little messages that are conveyed through what seems to be a big circumstance. This past week was quite the week for me…although most weeks are busy; but for some reason, I found myself extra tired…even before the weekend began.
By time I had reached Saturday evening, I was feeling as though I wasn’t going to make it anymore. We had experienced some rain on Friday night and Saturday, which shot my pain levels way above the norm; so I struggled for the rest I really needed, on Saturday and Saturday night.
As I woke up on Sunday morning…I was struggling to get out of bed, while still feeling the after effects of Saturday…and a couple rough nights of sleep. As I slowly got around, for another new day, I had myself pretty much convinced that maybe it was time to take a few days off and stay in bed; but after getting around…and slowly working my way back into my office, I began to see more and more that it was the voice of circumstance; that was attempting to control my life at that moment.
You know…I’m seeing more and more, as to how easy it can be, to follow after the voice of circumstance, rather than that still small voice of God; that can lead us away from these moments of despair. Even though we know that the power of evil cannot supersede the power of God; Satan definitely has a way of making it seem the other way around, which can easily become a trap that can get us caught up, in deep dark moments of despair.
Through the difficult moments I experienced this past weekend; I came to see that even though our thoughts may be distracted by a deceptive circumstance…it’s so important to get away from these thoughts and get our minds and hearts back on track with God. Once I did this; that is when the difficulties of this past weekend didn’t seem so big and overwhelming.
Now…another new week begins, with new possibilities…and I don’t know about you; but I’m ready to leave these past days of difficulties along the wayside, so I can continue to press on and anticipate God’s next move. Remember one thing…we can’t move forward into the new days ahead, if we are carrying excess baggage, from days gone by…and we can’t experience the best that God may have for us ahead, if we are allowing ourselves to remain stuck in our yesterdays.
As we begin another new week, may I encourage you today, to take hold of a brand new beginning…in this brand new day! Anticipate God’s best and what may be around the corner for you…and I’m sure that God will display a week before you…that is truly blessed by Him!
Well…it’s been another great time together...and I pray that you will have a great day! Take good care and I will hope to be back with you again tomorrow! God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
