Hello everyone…”Happy Monday”…and a big welcome, to “A New Day of New Hope Blog”…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad to be back with you today…and my prayer for you; is that you will truly come to experience God, in every part of your day!

You know…today, I’ve been sitting here…thinking on how Jesus truly longs to care for us and be there for us…especially when we are unable to be there for ourselves. This past Saturday, I was talking with a friend of mine and as we were talking about spring being right around the corner…I instantly began to think on when the time may be changing. As I went over to google and checked…it was to my surprise that the time was going to be changing the next day. Now that will wake you up…if you aren’t awake already!

Anyways…as I was thinking on how this all came about; I began to instantly see how Jesus was taking care of me. To some, they may think of this happening by chance…but I don’t. One thing I’ve come to see is this…when we are tired or when we are going through something difficult in our lives; then Jesus will come in and take over and help us through these moments…even if it’s only reminding us of something we forget.

You know…I just love the way that Jesus takes care of me! He can wake me up, from a Sunday afternoon nap, without the alarm being on…and just at the right time too. He can speak deep within my thoughts and heart, with a simple word that can heal and restore my body back to where it should be…and He can speak words of love into my heart, through His still small voice, when life just becomes too overwhelming for me. He not only takes care of me; but He walks me through life and has become the companion and close friend; that will always be there, when I need some help and encouragement.

Maybe you’re asking me today…well, why don’t I feel His presence like that? You know…there used to be a time in my life, when I didn’t feel this close to Jesus. I was a Christian…I prayed and read my Bible at times; but the main ingredient I was missing; was the desire to seek Him deeper in my life. Many times, I made my problems my companion, rather than Jesus; so because of that; I ended up having a relationship with my problems, rather than Him.

The Bible says in Matthew 7:7-8… “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Remember…only the right door will open us up to God, when we are seeking and knocking on the right door to begin with. Once we have chosen to walk away from the door of our problems; to truly knock on the door that can lead us, to a powerful…loving and caring God; that is when we will begin to experience all He can truly be for us!

As you begin this brand new week…let God help you walk beyond any problem you may be facing in your life…to discover the very best that He has for you…simply by seeking His presence in your day!

I pray that you will have a great start to your week…and that you will truly, truly experience God’s very best in your life! Take care and I will hope to be back with you again tomorrow…God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
