Hello everyone…and a “Happy Tuesday!” Welcome today, to “A New Day of New Hope Blog”…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I’m so glad that you chose to stop by today for a visit…and I pray that you will have a day that’s truly blessed by God!
Yesterday was one of those days of pain…a pain that isn’t always easy to get under control. One thing I’ve noticed lately; is that when I’m a little over tired; then my right leg tends to drag, as it cannot bend when I walk. Some of my pain may be due to that; but I think that some of it is also due to what I’m accomplishing for God and for others who hurt, which makes me feel as if Satan is up to no good.
You know…it’s amazing how pain or any other thing can attempt to take us down and have control over us…that is, until the person being afflicted, has accomplished everything God wanted them to accomplish…even through the pain. I have come to see that pain can start up, when I’m doing something great for God…but once everything has been accomplished; it’s amazing how the pain goes away.
One thing I truly believe in; is bringing the works of darkness to light…like the Bible says. When we choose to succumb to the problem or try to hide it and struggle through it on our own; then we are only giving Satan more power…or in other words, we are adding fuel to a fire that is already burning.
In John 1:5, we read…“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” I just love this Bible verse because it’s truly a verse of hope! Just think…when we invite Jesus to enter a moment of darkness within our lives; then the light of His powerful presence illuminates every form of that darkness; that’s surrounding us and attempting to have control over our lives…and here’s the good part; that darkness we’re walking through at the time cannot overcome the light of God’s powerful presence, which means that with the light of God’s presence surrounding us…we can safely walk out of these moments of darkness…wow!
There have been many times, when Satan attacks me, while working for God…especially with the writings; but the minute I let God know what’s happening and ask for His help; it’s amazing, as to how quickly it comes to an end. Sometimes, I think we just don’t take the time to make it known to God, which only brings about needless moments of suffering. If we desire to have God bring these moments of darkness to light and rid us of them; then first, we need to make it known to God. Once God hears us calling for help…He will come running and the light of His presence will overshadow the darkness…as He walks us safely out of these difficult moments we’re facing.
As you begin your walk, through a brand new day…always know that the light of God’s presence is there for you. We may face a circumstance that attempts to keep us in darkness; but one thing I know…once the light of God’s presence steps into these moments; then darkness loses its grip of power over us.
Well…I’ve really enjoyed this time with you; because as I am sharing God’s heart with you…I am also taking hold of these words…for we all need these little reminders in life! Anyways…take good care…have a great Tuesday…and many blessings on your day! See your tomorrow!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
