Wednesday...March 20, 2019

​Hello everyone…and a “Happy Wednesday” to you! Welcome today, to “A New Day of New Hope Blog”…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you came to spend a little time with me today…and my prayer; is that God will truly bless each moment of your day, with His very best!
 
One thing that Jesus and I have truly shared heart to heart, for many years…especially during the difficult times of my life; are the moments, when He would speak deep within my spirit and heart. To some…they may say… “She’s lost it for sure”…in fact, I did have someone tell me that before; but no one can take away the moments, when His still small voice enters my spirit…to bring me hope and a way out, of whatever I’m facing at the time. To me…this is what I call a true relationship with Jesus Christ!
 
These past couple of days have truly been a struggle for me…but even as I’ve been sitting here…anticipating the words that God longs for me to share with you today; He has once more reminded me of a song that He once brought to me, while feeling broken…battered and beaten…and the song is titled… “Look How Far You’ve Come.”  Before I share some of the lyrics to this song; I have…for the longest time; seen these songs or other thoughts He’s given me, as true messages from His heart to mine.
 
Even as I have been sitting here…struggling to write, through the pain and tiredness, of a broken body…these are the words that He longed to share with my heart, from this song… “Don't give up. Don't give in. Give it all to Him. Cause He cares so much more than you know.
When it seems who you really want to be; is someone you'll never become…just look how far you've come. I know it's not always easy (How far you've come); but don't you throw it all away
(How far you've come) I know that He will take care of you every day.”
 
When I stop and think on the words that stand before me right now…I know what Jesus wants me to know…and that is to not give up. He knows that these roads we walk down are not always easy…and even the moments of the past; that have led us to where we are today, haven’t always been easy; but we can make it through anything with Him, as He reaches out to care for us.
 
The first time I ever heard this song, was at a time when I found myself sitting to myself…with tears streaming down my face. As I sat there; I became numb to what I had been walking thru at the time…and even the words I once shared with God had disappeared into thin air; but then God brought this song to my thoughts…and as I listened to each word that ran through my mind; I began to feel His loving presence…ever so near. I somehow knew at that time; that He had come to lift me out of the pit of despair…that had taken me captive…and you know what…He did; so now as I read the words to this song; God is reminding me once more; that He longs so much, to be the same God for me today, as He was for me…many years back. What a great friend He has been to me!
 
You too may feel stuck, within the muck and mire of despair…feeling there is no way out; so may I encourage you also…to not give in to the problem; but rather, listen for the still small voice…of a God who longs to minister hope, to your broken heart and soul.
 
Well…God sure led the way in this writing today…and as you start another new day; I pray that you will truly feel His loving presence…deep within your heart and soul! Take care and I will hope to be back with you again tomorrow! God bless!
