A big hello to everyone! Welcome back today, to “A New Day of New Hope Blog!” It’s so good to have you back…and I pray that each word that is written today will truly help…uplift and encourage us all in the Lord!
I’ll tell you…my life never seems to slow down! There are even days, when the brain is still going, when I go to sleep at night. In fact…just recently, I spent a whole night in a dream. Have you ever had that happen to you? It’s one of those dreams that continues on and on…no matter if you get up during the night or not.
Anyways…in this dream, I was looking for a computer key…and I spent the whole night looking for this computer key in my dream…and you won’t believe this; but the key I was looking for, ended up being a blank key…lol. That just goes to show that I am a very overworked lady!
Anyways…nights like these can make a person feel even more run down the next day. In fact, I think it is only a small part of Satan’s plan, to keep me from doing the work that God has for me to do; but do you know what…I keep going…and it’s not always easy.
You know…one thing I’m being reminded of more and more; is how we can find it so easy to sit down in the middle of our path and give into the circumstance that’s standing before us…and believe me, when I say…I’ve had those temptations. Life is definitely a challenge! Isn’t it amazing how we can sit and think about what is happening at the time…and before we know it…it’s as though we get hooked onto the problem, while being dragged to more details and fears; that only seems to increase the thoughts, of where this situation may be leading us.
One thing I am learning right now; is to not let my mind go to the place, where Satan can control my feelings and cause me to give into the temptations he brings my way. There may be days, when I have to tell my legs to keep moving…or I may even have to convince my body that I can make it on the Lord’s strength; but I do press on. Believe me when I say; that it wasn’t always this way…for there was a day, when I fell prey to Satan’s temptations…for I found it much easier to give into the temptation to quit than to press on; but I soon found out that this only made my situation much worse.
In I Corinthians 10:13, we read… “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
One thing I know for sure…we all definitely need to have a close connection with God, in these end times. When we have a close connection with God; then like the verse says…God will be faithful and will not allow us to suffer temptation…to the place, where we are unable to handle it…and He will make a way of escape, which I have found to be so true; so that we can go through the trial much easier…to the place, where we can bear it.
May I encourage you today, to not get drawn into your situations; but rather rise above them and let God take over for you. He will make it easier for you to press on, rather than finding yourself caught in a web of temptation, whose only goal is to make you give up on life.
I hope that these words have truly blessed your heart today! Please take care...and always take hold of God, rather than the problem!
Blessings so much on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him...
