Diane K Chamberlains, Time Alone with God: A Devotional Study for Discovering Renewed Hope in God: is the book to read, if you are looking for a renewal in your faith in God, and have a desire to have a much closer relationship with God. What I really enjoyed was that she wrote this book by using examples of her own hurts, traumas, and pain. Then she showed us chapter by chapter how to rebuild that complete faith in God, and learning how to make Him number one in our lives, as she did. She also dedicated a part of the book on how to fight the evil ones attacks and how the closer we get to God; the harder he is going to attack us. That he will use our weaknesses and our emotions to make us doubt God. The thing I liked best about this book is that in every chapter, on every page whatever the topic is, Diane has a biblical verse to back it up. It is not just written from her thoughts; this book is written from the Word of God. She uses examples of people in the bible and how they conquered certain problems in their lives, and how God lead them through it by using the verses to show us in God's own words. This is not just a book or a devotional; this is a life bible study. By this I mean that whatever the problem, situation, or issue of topic was, Diane brought us to a verse that directly deals with that situation at hand. Reading this book is as if you were reading a devotional, a Bible study, and a book all in one. Actually, that is exactly what this book is. The way this book is written is genius. So many people buy three or four books on the same topic to get the guidance they are looking for. In Time Alone with God, you can get it all in one book. Reading this book gave me a lot of insights on my own personal relationship with God, and made it more clearly to me why I am facing so many of the problems and issues that I am in my personal life. The book gave me a lot of hope, and showed me where to go and what verses to read on a daily basis to get me through my own issues I am dealing with right now. But the main thing it did was opened my eyes to just how mighty and powerful our Lord is, and just how much He loves you and me. I would suggest this book to all Christians, including new Christians because it is a great way to learn how to get closer to God, How to fight evil, and also a great way to learn verses to use in many different areas of everyday life.​

​I always look forward to another book by Diane K. Chamberlain. Her work is inspired by God and written from her heart. I am especially looking forward to this series of books because they can be used for your daily devotional time. Her works will encourage everyone that reads her writing. Not only for those of us that are going through difficult times. Also, having these books on my kindle make them available to me anytime I want to be inspired.
