continued Book Review...
chapter, on every page whatever the topic is, Diane has a biblical verse to back it up. It is not just written from her thoughts; this book is written from the Word of God. She uses examples of people in the bible and how they conquered certain problems in their lives, and how God lead them through it by using the verses to show us in God's own words. This is not just a book or a devotional; this is a life bible study. By this I mean that whatever the problem, situation, or issue of topic was, Diane brought us to a verse that directly deals with that situation at hand. Reading this book is as if you were reading a devotional, a Bible study, and a book all in one. Actually, that is exactly what this book is. The way this book is written is genius. So many people buy three or four books on the same topic to get the guidance they are looking for. In Time Alone with God, you can get it all in one book. Reading this book gave me a lot of insights on my own personal relationship with God, and made it more clearly to me why I am facing so many of the problems and issues that I am in my personal life. The book gave me a lot of hope, and showed me where to go and what verses to read on a daily basis to get me through my own issues I am dealing with right now. But the main thing it did was opened my eyes to just how mighty and powerful our Lord is, and just how much He loves you and me. I would suggest this book to all Christians, including new Christians because it is a great way to learn how to get closer to God, How to fight evil, and also a great way to learn verses to use in many different areas of everyday life.
