A Hope that's Greater than Failure...

Have you ever had a day that was already planned and ready to live…that is, until something stepped in and completely shattered those moments; that just seemed so perfect? I’m sure that we all can say that there has been a time, when Satan seemed to step in, where he didn’t belong and take control.
 
One thing I’ve learned through moments such as these; is to never let them bring me down; but rather, try to shift my thinking in God’s direction instead…because even though Satan has a way of stepping in, where He doesn’t belong…God also has a way of stepping in and mending what has been torn apart…and I don’t know about you; but I have found out that better things come to pass through these broken moments.
 
In Psalm 42:5, we read… “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Many times, God has brought this verse to me, as though He is personally asking me these questions. After reading the verse, I find it to be an eye opening experience between me and God, which helps me to switch my thoughts in His direction, rather than the direction of the problem.
 
We must come to realize; that no matter what we walk through in life…there is no reason to be downcast or brought low…because this powerful God that surrounds us each day is our hope…a hope that will always be greater than anything that attempts to take us down.
