An Endless Strength...

9/2/2018

As I’m writing you today…my mind is going back to the past couple of days…a time, when I felt the complete opposite of what I feel right now. In other words, I was going through a Saturday and Sunday morning, when I felt as if my body was going on fumes…but I was still making it. This hasn’t been the first time I’ve experienced these thoughts and feelings…and that is because I’m coming to see more and more that the reason for this; is because there is a great and powerful God holding me up and keeping me going, even when I feel as if my body is about to crash.

In Isaiah 40:29, we read…“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” How many times, have we truly come to acknowledge a God, whose strength is limitless? It’s amazing how we fall prey to weakness and come to accept its ways…and even allow our weaknesses to have control over our lives. We must remember today; that when we limit the strength of an ongoing and endless God…who is full of great power and strength; then we are not only limiting what He can do within our lives; but we are also weakening Him and bringing Him down, to the level of our weaknesses.

You know…it’s so easy to allow our weaknesses and our problems to convince us that we just can’t make it. We seem to be more caught up in what the circumstance is doing; that we forget what God can do through the circumstance.

Every single day of our lives, we need to recognize a God, whose power and strength are endless…a God who is the source of our strength…One who can go the distance for us, when we can’t seem to make it on our own. When we truly come to recognize this; that is when we will always have the hope to press on!!
