Joy Comes in the Morning...

As we begin another new week…some may be dreading the moments that await them, due to the darkness of a circumstance. The days you’re living in may seem so dark; that you may feel as if you will never see the light of day again; but may I encourage you today; that even though we may feel as if we are stuck in the darkest of nights…joy will come in the morning…and brighten a path before us; that was once darkened by evil.
 
In Psalm 30:5b, we read… “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” I have been through times in my life, when my circumstances made me feel, as if I was in total darkness. There was no light before more and all I could seem to do was feel my way through the darkness; but I came to see within my own life; that God was allowing that darkness to enter my path; that I may let go of the problems in my life… and allow the darkness to nudge me in God’s direction. As I continued to desperately seek God…a light began to enter my path, as though I had entered the dawning of a brand new day.
 
As I look around me and listen to other people’s needs; I see where Satan is working overtime on Christians especially and causing a darkness to overtake their path, as a means of getting them to give up and give into the darkness, while attempting to take them away from the presence of God.
 
One thing we must remember…the choices we make, while walking in darkness, can either lead us further into darkness or these moments can cause us to feel our way to God. No matter what you’re facing…just know that God longs to lead you into a brand new dawn…a time, when He can make you stronger and draw you closer to Him…so never give into the darkness that may be surrounding you right now!
