Suffering for Doing Good...

8/14/2018

How many times do we become so deeply focused on everything that is going wrong in our lives; that we completely bypass why it’s happening. In I Peter 3:17, we read… “For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.”

Do we ever stop to think that all that we are going through in this life; is because Satan is attempting to take us away from the presence of God? For most of my life, I have gone through very difficult moments of pain and deep heartache; but one thing I’ve noticed…especially, while going through a difficult day of chronic pain…and that is that my writings become more in depth; so while Satan may be attempting to stop the work that God is doing through me…God is using these difficult moments, for something greater…which goes to show that no power can supersede the power of the most high!

Sometimes I think we become too caught up in what or how many things are taking place in our lives; that with time, we find ourselves sucked deeply into these moments, which only allows Satan to have the control he desires.

Today…and every day, we need to focus on the joy we can find through these difficult times; and that is the thought that we would not be facing such overwhelming moments such as these, unless we were truly a child of God. We must remember that Satan doesn’t waste his time, on those he already has control over; but rather, he is out to remove those from God, who are truly devoted to Him.

No matter what we face in this life, we must remember that these difficult moments are going to make life feel like a tight squeeze, on this narrow path that we are walking down; but when we can remain faithful to God, even during the worst of times; then in the end, we will discover that it was truly worth it all…praise God!!
