Working thru Weakness...

9/11/2018

Today seems to be a time for reminiscing back, to the moments that taught me so much, while facing great moments of adversity. You know…it’s not always easy to figure out why God doesn’t answer our prayers, when we first ask Him for help; but one thing He has taught me; is to always know that His grace is more than sufficient…for the times, when we just can’t seem to get beyond the difficult moments we’re facing.

Today, I would like to encourage you, with a verse from 2 Corinthians 12:9, which says… “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

You know…sometimes I think we have our thinking backwards. While we are thinking mostly on our problems; God is seeing our situation in a completely different light. What God taught me through the difficult times, was to rejoice…just knowing that God has everything under control; for it is during these moments of adversity; that we actually have the greatest chance of experiencing God’s powerful hand in action…within our lives.

No matter what you’re facing…and no matter how long the trial has lasted; just know that when this trial has served the purpose, for which God allowed these moments to enter your life; then you will truly come to see how God can take hold of your weaknesses and exchange them for His perfect strength.

You know…I may live a different life than others and I may face struggles most every day; but it’s been through these moments of weakness; that I have gained a brand new heart that is at God’s level, rather than my own…and there is not enough praise, for what my God hath done!
