Good evening everyone! What a great day it’s been and what a beautiful night it is! I hope your day was as nice as mine! What a way to end the day; then to visit with you and listen to some Christmas music on my headset!
This morning, as the alarm rang loudly at 6:20 am, I actually felt no pain and woke up with a smile…ready to begin another new day. God is so good! As I walked thru the house and turned the lights on and began to prepare for my morning with God, I found myself singing in the bathroom and as I entered my office, I looked up to a beautiful picture of Jesus and said a great big “good morning” to Him!”
After making a phone call, I began to listen to some music, which I just love to start my day out with…and as God began to lead me to several Bible verses; the Spirit of God began to move and before I knew it…God was truly at work. Thoughts and quotes began to fill my mind and before I knew it…my Twitter page was coming alive. From there, I went over to check on the website and God was also bringing things alive over there, as people were coming on. As I began to see my God at work…I began to praise Him and what a great morning I had!!
Today was also my day to work on “Sunday Inspiration,” which is my church page, on the website. I spent close to 3 hours with God, as I picked out music for the page, along with a Bible reading; that God had placed upon my heart. From there, I designed a graphic quote that will actually be the “thought for the week”…and then I spent the rest of my time…closely connected with God, as we began to put together a devotional for the page. May I say right now…you won’t want to miss “Sunday Inspiration” this week…and the best part of it; is that it will be a Christmas writing; so come back anytime on Sunday and visit my page…“Sunday Inspiration,” and truly connect with a God, who has given us some special words of encouragement. What a God!!
Like I’ve said before…there is nothing like working all day with God! He has definitely become my close friend and companion and these moments that we spend together definitely have a way of renewing my spirit in His presence…especially during the difficult moments of pain!
I’ll tell you…this has been quite the week for me! Just think…last week, I was in so much pain that I could hardly walk and this week, the pain is minimal and I’ve learned so much…especially over the past 48 hours. God has shown me that He is definitely with me…no matter what I face…and you know what, I think the thing I learned the most this week; is to share my feelings with God and come to Him as a child. I have to admit that I’ve had a lot of challenges with my disability and disability can bring about feelings that others may not even think about…like fear; but do you know what? I came to God and was honest with Him about my fears…just like a child and He truly helped me thru those debilitating moments. What a God!! If we would only let go and let God take over…and not be afraid to admit that we can be weak…I just know that God would take those feelings upon Himself and exchange them, for His love and peace…just like He did for me. What a week!!
Well…the time has flown by tonight! It seems like we just started our visit together. I had a great time visiting with you this evening and I hope you enjoyed it too! Please come back tomorrow night, as I share the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
