Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good evening everyone! Merry Christmas and welcome back to the Heart to Heart Blog! I am so00 glad that you came for a visit tonight…and no matter what you’re going thru, just know that you are never alone…because Jesus cares and so do I!

Tonight, I thought I’d give you a personal invitation to come and spend Christmas Eve with me. Even though we may be far away in distance…we are close together in spirit…and most of all…close to the One who lives within us.

As we share this Christmas Eve together, I would like to invite you to come on into my home…find a comfy place to sit and enjoy! My husband, Keith will be lighting a roaring fire in the fireplace, so we can relax…be warm and enjoy this time together, while I light candles that are strewn all over the coffee table.

While you are relaxing, I will be in the kitchen…putting together a party, for the greatest birthday ever known to man…the party for a great and mighty King, who was born in a lowly stable many years ago; that He might bring salvation and hope to every one of us!

As we sit together and enjoy a cheese and meat plate, with dip…crackers and other party items; I thought that we could just visit and enjoy the warmth and light; that fills the air, with the true meaning of Christmas.

You know…celebrating Jesus’ birthday is a festive time of the year; but I see His birthday, as more than that. To me, this was a time, when God’s love shown down upon us, as a bright star of hope lit up the place, where His holy Son would be born in a lowly stable. Did you know that Jesus’ birth had to be a lowly birth; so with time, His journey here on earth and His death on the cross, would shine and be seen in a great and marvelous way?

The reason that I rejoice over Jesus’ birth and the true meaning of Christmas; is because I have truly experienced the hope that He brought with Him, into this world…over thousands of years ago. You know…it’s so easy to just focus on the nativity part of this story; that we truly bypass the reason Jesus came into this world.

This Christmas, I pray that we will all take a trip back to a lowly stable and truly focus on the true meaning of Jesus’ birth…and I’m sure that if we take the time to do that; then we will not only experience His great and amazing love for us; but also a hope that He brought into this world; that all who would believe in Him, would never perish or fall beneath the weight of despair; but instead, would find a future of everlasting life with Him! Praise Him!

Well…as we close this time together, I have prepared a special birthday cake for Jesus…so if you would all gather round, we will light the candle and sing…”Happy Birthday to You…Happy Birthday to You…Happy Birthday, our dear and precious Jesus…Happy Birthday to You.”

I don’t know what you have or don’t have planned for Christmas this year; but know that each and every one of you will be in my prayers. I may not know who you are personally and I may not know or understand what you are going thru; but one thing I know…God knows who you are and I pray, with all my heart; that He will be your closest friend this Christmas and all thru the year!

Well…time for me to go; but I thank you, for joining me this Christmas Eve! It’s been so nice to have you in my home and my prayer; is that you will find the true and lasting gift of hope this Christmas! I’ll see you soon, as I share a new day with you, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Blessings on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
