Good evening everyone…and Happy Friday Night! I am so glad that you stopped by this evening, to spend some time with me, at the Heart to Heart Blog! Don’t you just love Friday nights? I love them because I can sit here…knowing that everything has been accomplished for the week…and most of all, I love my time with you, as I sit here with my feet up…relaxing from another busy day!
This morning…I have to say that I felt like I was experiencing a new dawn, after my time with God yesterday morning. I stand amazed tonight, as to how God stepped into the moments; that were truly taking me down, during these past 7-8 weeks! Even though I still experience some pain…the tiredness and weakness is now a thing of the past…and I praise God, for all He has done, in such a loving way!
You know…we can experience long and drawn out moments of affliction and find ourselves unknowingly going hand in hand with them…and that is why we need to be alert to whatever we may be experiencing. We also need to realize that Satan is the culprit, when it comes to affliction and he not only is the culprit; but he’s also the one, who devices the plans; that can cause these moments of affliction to take us down…to a place where we can begin to feel that we may never be able to get back up…like I was beginning to feel, over these past weeks.
One thing I have truly learned thru this experience; is to never get caught up in Satan’s plan. We know that there will be moments, when we feel weak from Satan’s attacks and to be honest…there can be times, when we become so caught up in every symptom of the moment; that we never really see where they are taking us, until we find ourselves at the bottom…looking up. Anyways…God has been so good to me this week and I thank Him tonight; that He is truly looking out for my good!
Well…not much was accomplished online today, due to my cleaning day…and talking about cleaning day, my husband helped me with a project in my office this morning and wow…I think I just found out why I sit here on my daybed and sneeze a lot…lol.
Recently, I ordered a side table on wheels…where the table goes across the bed, like in a hospital room. As some of you may already know…I work on a daybed, which is so much more comfortable; then sitting for long hours at a desk, due to the condition of my legs. Anyways…I got thinking the other day; that the wheel frame, at the bottom of this side table would have to roll under my daybed; so I thought that I would move some things under the bed, so I could do just that.
After finally getting down on the floor, which is quite the undertaking, with a rod in my leg…lol; I called my husband into the office and we began the task of removing what didn’t need to be under the daybed, while rearranging what needed to remain under there…and to my amazement, I found plenty of dust. Now tell me…how does that much dust get under a daybed, in the middle of winter, when the windows are closed and it was cleaned before winter? I know a person needs to clean under the beds; but it’s not always that easy, when under the bed becomes storage space. Anyways…we did tackle the job and succeed and now I have a very clean space under the daybed, for this new table that hasn’t yet arrived.
What a week it’s been…but I have survived and I sit here tonight, feeling very blessed…knowing that God was there, for my every need this week! I hope that you have also had a good week and I pray that you will truly experience the loving and peaceful presence of God, as you rest throughout your night! Take care and I hope to see you again Sunday evening, as I share my thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night…and your weekend!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
PS…I hope you will stop by this weekend and enjoy some music, a Bible reading...a thought for the week, along with a great God inspired writing, titled “Losing to Win,” on Sunday Inspiration…thru the Risen Hope Ministries! That page will be completed this evening and ready for tomorrow morning…or any other time; that you may want to view it.
