Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good evening everyone and a happy Monday evening to you! Welcome tonight, to the Heart to Heart Blog! I am so happy to be back with you this evening! I’m just sitting here…with a hot cup of apple cider spice tea…with my feet on the bed and a song in my heart…after all that God has brought me thru today!

You know…for a while, I was beginning to think that we were headed for an early spring; but not after last night. This morning, I woke up to 8 above 0 and I heard that it’s going to dip down tonight, to 4 above…but that’s ok, because I have my tea and a warm home, which I am very thankful for.

You know…the other night…before going to bed, I stopped to just thank God, for the things I take so easily for granted…like a soft daybed to sit on…a warm home and all the comforts of this home; that make life easier for me. I don’t think that we stop to realize that life could be much worse; then what it really is. Isn’t it amazing, how the worst moments in a day can attempt to make us believe that nothing could be any worse; then what we are experiencing, at that present time? I guess we need to just slow down and take in our surroundings, until we come to see that life isn’t as bad, as what we first thought…and once we come to this realization; then that is when I believe that God’s perfect peace will begin to kick in and put our minds at ease.

Well…I don’t know about your Monday…but mine was a good one…even though I faced a few struggles in my day. I’m coming to see…more and more; that the struggles we face are only road blocks…set up by evil, to detour us away from the presence of God; so rather than giving into the ones I faced today, I just kept moving forward with God and everything worked out just fine! In fact…I was amazed to see that I already have most of my Sunday Inspiration page figured out, for this next weekend…which I normally don’t work on, until Wednesday morning…so you see…God can really work in ways that we don’t expect, when we open ourselves up to Him…and never give into the struggles that attempt to take us down!

You know…last night, I had a very different kind of night, which explains why I already have most of Sunday Inspiration finished for this weekend.  Sometimes, in the stillness of the night…God seems to work with my thoughts and that is one reason why I just love the quiet moments, at the end of my day!

Anyways…I was in and out of sleep last night, due to a little pain and as I laid there on the bed, I began to hear that still small voice of God and before I knew it…this morning, I was writing down all the ideas, for this week’s Sunday Inspiration page. Moments like these become very special to my heart…as I spend quiet moments with God before bed and even sometimes during the night.

You know…we don’t have to be anyone special, to hear that still small voice of God within our hearts. We just need to keep the front door of our hearts open, with a welcome mat out; so God will always feel welcome to enter and speak to us…and when we not only believe that; but truly live that; then we will always receive His very best, within the heart!

Well…even though this was a little different kind of Monday for me…it’s been God’s best for sure! I have truly enjoyed this time with you tonight and I pray that you will begin to see how God can truly work within your heart…just by being open to Him.

As we close our time together this evening, I pray that God’s presence will be with you throughout the night and that you will experience His loving peace…and also, I hope you will join me again tomorrow evening, as I share my thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Many blessings on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
