Hello everyone! Happy Thursday night and welcome to the Heart to Heart Blog! I hope that your day has been a good one! I don’t know about you; but I’m looking forward to another evening together, as I share the thoughts that God places upon my heart…to share with your heart!
As I’m sitting here this evening, I’m trying to figure out where the week went. Last night, as I was preparing my end of the week list; I actually tried to add another day to this week, by thinking that today would be Wednesday. I either lost some megabytes of brain wave from the week or these are signs of getting a little older. Either way…it doesn’t sound good to me. Anyways…I’m just so thankful that I had enough brain waves left to figure out; that last night was Wednesday….and today would be Thursday…lol.
As I got back on course with God this morning, I spent some quiet moments alone with Him and then it was off to my kitchen, to prep some things for the next couple of days. Even though it may be a lot of work at the time…it does pay off by the end of the week, when I need a break the most. One thing my husband and I do not care for is take out! Anymore…it seems like you order a pizza and you get more crust than toppings; so I just plan some fun food for the end of the week and prep it in advance and then it’s ready for the weekend, which makes us feel, as if we are eating really good take out.
After a morning of cooking, I was back in the office…spending more time with God…throughout the afternoon, as I began my writing, for this week’s Sunday Inspiration page. Like I mention a lot of times in my blog…you don’t want to miss out, on this week’s writing! In fact, the title for this God inspired writing is…“An Ongoing Grace”…and by the way, I usually have Sunday Inspiration posted and all ready to go, by late Friday night; so you can even come and enjoy the page on Saturday…for those of you, who may be in church on Sunday.
After a mixed bag of everything today, I am sitting here once more in my office, with my feet up…curlers in the hair and deep heat on the body, as I enjoy this time with you this evening. Before coming to spend some time with you, I was listening to some more music, by Phillips, Craig and Dean, which I just love. As I was listening to one of their songs, titled… “Crucified with Christ;” I caught on to a part of the lyrics that goes like this… “His Cross will never ask for more than I can give…” Wow!
You know…we all experience moments in our lives, when we feel as if the trial is just too much to go thru. We stop and even wonder how we will make it thru something that seems so enormous; but after listening to this song tonight, I am reminded that God will never allow us to go through one extra moment of suffering; that we are just not able to get through.
One thing I have come to see…many times in my life; is that God has control stick in hand and even though He may allow Satan to afflict us…He still has control over every part of the trial and He will never allow us to reach the place, where we end up falling over the cliff to total destruction; so instead of panicking…we need to trust God…and know in our hearts; that He has everything under control and that these moments will eventually lead us to freedom once more.
Well…I don’t know about you; but I have truly enjoyed my time with you this evening! I hope that you will come to a place in your life, where you can trust God, with the moments that seem so uncertain or to enormous to get through and that you will come to see that God truly has control over every little thing in your life.
Well…until tomorrow, I pray that you will have a great night of rest and also a great Friday! Take care and I will hope to see you again tomorrow evening, for some thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
