Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good evening everyone! Happy Sunday evening…and a big welcome tonight, to the Heart to Heart Blog! I hope that you’ve had a good weekend and that you will begin to anticipate the best that God longs to give you, in this brand new week ahead!

Well…it’s been a nice and restful weekend for me…in fact, I almost didn’t show up tonight because I laid down this afternoon and slept for about 3 hours and almost didn’t wake up in time, to come and visit you. Once I get into a deep sleep…that’s it for me. In fact, when I was in school…I remember a time or two, when my mother would wake me up with a little water on my face, which was just what I needed to start my day…lol.

One thing that I have come to see through the years of ministry work; is that God knows just when He needs me and it doesn’t matter if the alarm clock is set or not…because He has a way of getting me to my feet…lol. At least I know that we are still connected…right?

Actually, I don’t have a lot to say about my day, since I was sleeping it away; but I will say this one thing…God has been so good and so faithful to me. You know…God knows just what we need and when we need it and I am so glad that He is my father and I am His daughter!

This morning, as I was beginning the day…my husband and I were actually having devotions, from my Sunday Inspiration page, which we normally do every week. I have come to see that these words I write aren’t just for you…but also for me because these are words that truly come from the heart of God.

Anyways…as I was focusing on the words that I had written several days ago…there was one thing that I was reminded of and that is how God’s grace never ends. You know…we can relate to God’s grace at the cross…which is where His grace began; but do we ever stop to realize that this was only the beginning of how God would allow us to experience His grace?

Today, I was thinking on how God’s grace not only brought hope thru the cross; but also, how His grace has become arms of love that reaches out to us, during a time of need…for it’s His love and mercy that continues to reach way beyond the cross; to encourage us…and most of all, to shelter and sustain us from these storms we face in life. Just think…its God’s greatest desire to share His grace with us and it’s not because He feels that He has to do that; but rather, it just comes natural to Him…thru a heart of love. So how can we not feel loved by this God?

The next time you walk through a difficult time and you feel as if there is no remedy, for what you may be facing…open up yourself to God and from there…let His overwhelming love and mercy fill the emptiness of the heart…and I know from experience; that the lonely and hopeless feelings will become a thing of the past, as God’s richest gift to you (His grace), will begin to fill every empty and lonely moment in your life.

Now…as we begin to press on, into another brand new week; it is my prayer that we will anticipate the best that God longs to give us, rather than thinking on every little thing that could go wrong. Remember one thing, as you walk thru this week…never give a foothold to evil!

Well…I hope that you have enjoyed our time together this evening! Have a great night…and a great start to your week and may God’s loving presence always be with you!  Take care and I will hope to see you again tomorrow night, as I share some thoughts from the day…along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
