Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good evening everyone and a happy Tuesday night to you! I’m so glad that you stopped by the Heart to Heart Blog this evening; to pay me a visit…and I truly hope that your Tuesday was a good one!

After a rough day on Monday…I seem to be doing better today. In fact, I was able to accomplish much more today, than yesterday; so to me that’s a good sign that life seems to be coming back to normal.

As my day began, I had a phone call to make and then it was back on Twitter for me. I just love spending time with God on there and it also gives me a chance to check out, what God has laid on other people’s hearts to post for the day, which helps and encourages me a lot…probably just as much as mine encourages them.

Once I finished my time with God and did a little something for dinner in the kitchen, I was back online, as I knew today was going to be a busy one…and a busy one it was. First, it was time to prepare my audio weekly word of encouragement, for my page…“Inspiration for the Heart.” You may not know this but before I even begin to tape the audio or do my writings, I usually spend some time alone with God and some music. In this way, I am able to let go of everything else and connect with the God, who longs to encourage us all, through my heart and my thoughts.

By the way…if you haven’t ever checked out “Inspiration for the Heart;” it’s a short audio that I post, for each Wednesday. When this page began to come into existence…the thought that went through my mind at the time; is how great it would be, to give you a word of encouragement, in the hump of your week…something that would carry you through the remainder of your week; so from there…that’s where “Inspiration for the Heart” began. If you would like to check it out a little early tonight…the page is updated and the audio has been posted; so just click here and sit back and let me share some words of encouragement with you, for a few minutes out of your evening.

After spending most of the morning on my audio word of encouragement; it was time to sit down in the office and begin to prepare Sunday Inspiration, for this weekend. This usually takes quite a bit of time because I usually like to find some music that will go along with the writing; then I usually pick out several Bible verses, for the weekly Bible reading and then it’s on to designing a graphic quote…or thought for the week. All of this usually takes place on Tues. afternoon or Wednesday and then on Thursday afternoon, I usually spend a couple hours with God, as we work together on the weekly writing. I haven’t started to think on what the writing will be specifically about; but one thing I can tell you; is that it will be on the subject of “Hope”…so if you have been feeling overwhelmed by the everyday challenges of life and you are feeling as if your rope of hope has gone down to a thread of hope; then you won’t want to miss this week’s Sunday Inspiration. I will be posting more info on this, as the weekend draws closer.

Now that most of the work is behind me; I’m just sitting here…relaxing and enjoying a little fresh air in my office. I can’t believe it; but we hit 62 degrees today! What a beautiful day and I have to tell you; that the fresh air is making my office smell, as though it’s been hanging on the clothesline all day…lol.

You know…it’s amazing how we take certain moments like these for granted. I never realized how much I missed the fresh air coming into my office, until winter set in. Just listening to the birds singing in the trees, while watching the squirrels chase each other around the yard; brings me alive, as though springtime has hit my heart.

No matter what we face in life…isn’t it good to know that moments such as these can bring us back to the land of the living…that is, if we are willing to walk beyond the difficult moments we’re experiencing, to pursue something better. I have come to see that when we become too tightly focused on despair; then we will never see the light of another new day with God…only the darkness that stands before us. The choice is up to us; whether we will remain in these dismal and dormant moments or whether we will reach beyond them, for something that can truly bring our hearts back to life, especially while facing the difficult moments of affliction.

Well…I hope that you enjoyed our visit tonight…as I surely have! I hope you have a great night…surrounded by the peace…love and caring spirit; that only comes from God! Take care and I will hope to see you again tomorrow evening, as I share more thoughts from my day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
