 Good Monday evening everyone…and a big welcome to the Heart to Heart Blog! I am so glad to have you with me tonight and I pray that we will have a great visit this evening!
As I begin my visit with you tonight, I am listening to a song, titled… “Thanks!” You know…how many times, do we stop in our day…just to thank God for something? Seems like we’re good at asking for His help…but what about thanking Him…even if it’s only for something small? Well…today has been a good day and everything got accomplished; that God had on His list for me to do today! I just love entering a day…not having a clue, as to what I will be doing because that is when I experience God the most…as He reveals step by step, what needs to be done…according to His will for my day. What a way to remain in sync with God! As I began my day this morning…I did have a very interesting thing happen; but first, I must tell you that I now have all my e-books…everywhere for FREE, except for Amazon…and they’re only $0.99…which there is nothing that I can do about that…at least right now. Anyways…it seems like lately, I have been really getting in touch with God about the books…and a couple things that I have truly come to see; is first…these aren’t my books…their God’s books and His words…I’m just His secretary. Second…someone in need should never have to pay for a Christian book…unless there’s nothing that can be done about it…like my paperbacks. When it comes to the paperback books, I have no control over them because it’s a contract and money must be collected, to pay for the paper…ink…cover and binding of each book…but one thing I can say; is that I have them at the lowest price; that they can be sold at! Anyways…today, I went on my amazon author page, to check on book sales and I noticed that there were two freebies given away. I couldn’t figure out what they would be…because I no longer have my free catalog on amazon and there were no books marked as free…at least that’s what I thought…so, I went over to amazon and come to find out…God’s been at work. I guess I should let you know that the only way a book can be given away for free on amazon; is when someone complains and says that they have seen the same book for free somewhere else. Well…someone must have done that because now the e-book, for “You Are Not Alone in a Lonely World” is for free…and as of tonight, 8 copies have been given away…praise God! The way I see it; is that this could also happen with my other 15 e-books and before we know it…all the e-books on amazon, could end up being free. I should let you know that this book used to have poetry in it; but a while back, I posted a newer edition of that book, which is now a devotional book…so don’t get confused. You know…even though this world…or even evil itself attempts to control something in our lives; we must remember that there is a more powerful God…a God, who will eventually have it His way. How often, do we get so wrapped up, into thinking on what isn’t good; that we forget; that there is a God, who can make it all right? One thing I have come to see tonight is this…when I can’t make things completely come together, in the way that I know God longs for it to be; all I have to do is my best and then let Him take it from there. This morning, I posted a Bible verse on Twitter, from Proverbs 3:6, which reads…“In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”…and this is exactly what I saw God do in my life today! One thing though…we have to put some effort forth and not leave everything up to Him…and then He will meet us at the place, where we can’t complete what we started…and with His mighty power; He will take each effort put forth and crown them with success! What a God! Well…I can’t believe it; but my time is up for right now, as I need to have dinner and do a little work later. I hope you enjoyed our little visit this evening and my prayer for you; is that you will truly experience the perfect and lasting peace, of a God who loves you so very much!
