Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good Thursday evening everyone! Welcome tonight, to the Heart to Heart Blog! Before we begin our time together, I would like to say that today was a really nice day! It seemed that since the moment I started my day…everything just fell into place…and you know why? Because of a good friend of mine, whose name is Jesus Christ!

You know…lately, when I get up from a piece of furniture…it’s like I have to get up the nerve to just stand…because I know the pain that might be headed my way. Anyways…yesterday, I found myself sitting on the edge of my daybed in the office…just looking straight ahead…trying to get the courage to stand. As I was sitting there, it was as though God was reminding me to have faith…instead of dreading these moments; so I took the plunge and stood to my feet and within a few minutes, I found myself walking out of the office. Maybe I was still struggling to walk…but I was moving on.

As I was thinking on this tonight, I thought about the times, when we want to trust God and move on, during a difficult time; but yet we seem to hesitate because maybe we don’t know what may happen ahead of us. But if we could only leave fear and dread behind, to have faith in God; then I truly believe that we would instantly find the strength to stand up and move forward in life.

You know…it’s amazing to me, as to how God can take a situation like yours and mine and use them, as a reminder, for other things in our lives. These are truly the moments, when we experience the love of a Father, who truly cares for His children.

Well…one thing I can say tonight…I did get more work done; then just working to get off of a daybed…lol. In fact, today was the day that I did the writing, for this weekend’s Sunday Inspiration. What a great time I had with God! I would say that we spent a couple hours together and it was so good, to just get away from life for a while and meditate on God and what He longed to share with me today.

For those of you, who may want a sneak preview, into this week’s Sunday Inspiration…the title of the writing will be “Sustaining Peace.” You know…Jesus never said that we would be free from troubles…and He also never said how long He would allow a trial to remain within our lives…but no matter what; there is a peace that can sustain us, through each painful blow of the trial. Come and read about an experience I had with God, while facing a very difficult day and see what happened, as I connected to the Prince of all Peace. There is a way to escape needless suffering and that way is by experiencing a peace that’s so eternal…a peace that can never compare to the world’s so-called peace. I hope you will come this weekend and check out the music…the Bible reading…the beautiful thought for the week…and most of all this writing that is truly God inspired! As usual…I will be updating Sunday Inspiration tomorrow evening and will be posting a link in tomorrow night’s blog…or you can find Sunday Inspiration, under the tab…near the top of the page, titled… “God Inspired Writings.”

Well…it’s been one of those week’s, when it seemed to be a mixed bag of everything…but one thing I can say; is that everything that has been accomplished this week, has been by the will of God…and that is the way to walk through a day or a week. The things I do throughout my week may not always be easy, due to my health; but one thing I know…if they are the things that God has chosen for me to do; then He will be close by, to be my strength and everything I need…praise God!!

Well…I hope that you have enjoyed this time together tonight and my prayer for you; is that you will find God to truly be your peace, as you rest throughout the night! Have a great start to your Friday and I will hope to be back here tomorrow evening, for more thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great, loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
