 Good Tuesday evening everyone…and a big welcome tonight, to the Heart to Heart Blog! Well…I have my feet up and I’m listening to some soft…relaxing hymns, as I visit with you this evening. It’s been a busy day…but God has been with me all the way!
Have you ever felt like you couldn’t make it through your day…but yet you did? Well…that was what I’ve been experiencing the past couple of days. Seems like Satan has been working overtime…trying to zap me of my strength; but I can say without a doubt this evening; that God truly has been stepping in and exchanging my weakness, for His perfect and powerful strength! Praise God for that! You know…I have come to see that we don’t need the problem to disappear, to experience God’s perfect strength. I have found that I experience His strength the most, in the midst of my storm…at a time, when I have a desire to go on but yet I’m just too tired and weak to make it on my own. I don’t know about you; but I could never make it, without God’s strength. God said in His word that we would never be free from trouble; but He did promise to be with us and what a way to reveal His presence to us; then through a loving and powerful strength…a strength that can keep us standing, no matter how fierce the storm. Well…as my day began, I spent some really special moments with God on Twitter this morning. I could truly feel the loving presence of God…working through my thoughts and my heart, as I posted some thoughts and Bible verses for the day! If you would like to check us out on twitter…just click here! After a morning spent with God…it was time to begin my audio weekly word of encouragement, on Inspiration for the Heart. For those who aren’t familiar with this page…I have been sharing one story a week on my life and not only what I’ve been through; but how God brought me through it. This week…God was reminding me of a time, when I was at my lowest and what He did, to bring me back up to His level. Also…before I forget…I have started a mini library of past tapings, for those who may have missed out or would like to listen to them again…and that is right below the audio player, on Inspiration for the Heart. This morning on Twitter…one of the thoughts I posted was this…“Christ never gave up on you at the cross; so why would He give up on you now. The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking...Psalm 34:18a Believe me, when I say...He will run to you, during an hour of need and will never abandon you! Praise Him!!” You know…it’s so easy for our thoughts to take us away, with what a problem may be attempting to convey to us at the time; that we tend to forget that God is still there for us…just as He was at the cross. He is definitely a God, who becomes like a magnet to our broken hearts and will do anything it takes, to get to us and help us, during an hour of need. I think sometimes, we just have to be willing to let go of everything that can become a road block, for Him to enter our lives and do the work that only He can do. Well…this has been a day, of truly experiencing the presence of a great…strong and powerful God. Maybe my pain is still there…to some degree…and maybe I’m tired…due to the pain; but that’s not what I’m focusing on right now. Instead, I’m focusing on a God, who stepped into these moments of weakness and brought a strength that enabled me, to do the work…for which He called me to do today! Well…I hope that you enjoyed this time with me this evening and my prayer for you tonight; is that you will truly be surrounded by the loving and peaceful presence, of a strong and mighty God.
