Hello everyone! I hope your day was a good one! Today was another good day for me! I am finding more and more, since I spent that week off with God; that following close behind Him; is always the best place to be in life.
This morning, I had another great time with God...before beginning my day and we shared some time in Jeremiah 29:11-13, which reads... "11For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
You know...God already knows the plans He has for each of our lives; so why are we trying to figure life out on our own. That's kind of what was starting to happen with me before I took last week off. It's so easy to get into a rut and once a person becomes too tired and drained from the struggle; they seem to find it harder to connect with God; so they go in their own direction...trying to figure out life on their own.
I was amazed as to what I was doing to myself before I took the past week off! I guess sometimes, we need to accept that we can fall prey to weakness...after all, we are just human...right? I know one thing...once I took that time off and sought God with all my heart, as to what was really wrong; that is when God's love stepped in and revealed it to me and from there...I began to see His hand at work...bringing all the broken pieces of my life back together.
Since I've been back to work, I now seek God for everything in my life everyday and I let Him lead the way, rather than me trying to muddle thru on my own...and you know what? I have so much peace...peace that I have not felt in quite some time.
Like I said...today was a great day! As I let God walk me through the day, everything seemed to fall into it's rightful place and I didn't have anxiety or frustration...only God's peace. Now this evening, I am enjoying some quiet time with you...with my feet up and smile in my heart. God sure knows how to make a day work...that is, when we are willing to walk in His footsteps rather than our own.
I really hope that your day was a good one too! Well...I have a couple graphic quotes I want to design tonight; so I will let you go for now; but I hope you will come back and pay me a visit, as I share my day with you...along with the goodness of a loving and caring God!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
