Good evening everyone! I hope that you're enjoying this long holiday weekend! It's been another great day for me! Today was my housecleaning day but before I did that; I spent some good one to one time with God and posted on Twitter. What a great time we all had! God was definitely at work and by time I left my office, to go and clean, I was on high with God! If you would ever like to join me on Twitter...I'm usually on every morning...around 8:00 PT, which is 11:00 ET. I'm usually on there, for about 45 minutes to an hour! To follow me on Twitter, just click here!
This morning, I studied the 64th chapter of Psalm and posted what God was truly placing on my heart for the day! I just love these moments because they help me...just as much as they do others and it seems as though God places the right Bible reading on my mind, for just the right time...when I need it and others need it the most! This is what I love...watching God at work!
After I finished, I wanted to go out and debone my turkey from yesterday. Wow...that was really fun! I stood there by the counter, with several knives...not really knowing which one would probably work the best and you know what...it seemed like all I needed was 10 clean fingers instead. By time I finished, I had 2 clean knives and 10 greasy fingers. Oh well...it made me feel like a kid again!
After deboning the turkey, it was time to water plants and tackle a dusty/dirty house. I don't know why, but I always begin, by cleaning my office. Maybe deep down, I know that room is the worst. I don't know why; but that room seems to be a magnet to dust. It must be that the dust particles are following me in there everyday and making my office their home.
Anyways, as we continue our visit...I would like to share one of my most popular tweets that I had posted this morning...which was... "God hasn't changed over the years! His power remains the same, as it was over thousands of years ago...AMEN!! Even though He may allow a time of trial into your life; His power will definitely be seen in the end! Praise Him!!"
You know...sometimes I don't think we see God's power, for what it truly is. For example...while we are waiting for God to answer a prayer, we can feel as if He has walked away and that can make Him seem weaker in our eyes...as though He's not powerful enough to handle the problems we're facing...but that isn't true. Just because God is working according to His time table and not ours; that doesn't mean that He has become a weaker God.
We must remember that God is the same god, who helped David fight Goliath...and the same God, who spared Daniel from the lion's jaws, while helping Moses and the children of Israel cross the Red Sea. Just because we don't always see things happen in our lives, as they happened at that time; that doesn't mean that His power has weakened. After all...how can the most supreme God of this universe weaken in any way...when he is God?
No matter what we face...God will win in the end and His power will be displayed in such a way; that He will definitely be seen and felt but others around us. You see...God doesn't come to us in human form, like others on this earth...but instead, He uses His power...that we might feel and experience His presence.
This morning, I had a person approach me on Twitter...thanking me for encouraging her, along with others. My response to her was this..."You can thank God for that! This is God's way of loving and caring for you! He loves you so very much!" You see...God wasn't seen in person at that time; but He was definitely felt in spirit. In fact, people come to feel something different...something that seems to bring them alive and that is truly the power of a loving God.
Well...it's time for me to go, before I write a book! lol I hope that you have enjoyed the evening with me and that you have come to see God in a different light; then when you first came. I hope you have a good night...take care and I hope to see you again tomorrow night...same time and same place, as we share the goodness of a loving and powerful God...heart to heart!
Blessings on your night!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
