Good evening everyone! I hope that you have had a great weekend and a great day with God! My day has been the best! I was actually able to spend quite a bit of time with God and I'll tell you...there is nothing like entering the presence of a God, who is so much greater and more powerful; then anything we deal with from day to day!
After I spent my morning with God, I was now about to enter an afternoon of sleep, which I thank God for each week! You know...when God created everything; He designed the Sabbath, so we could have a time to rest and prepare for another week and I have never appreciated this day, as I have lately. You know...this is God's way of definitely caring for all of us and He definitely is a Father, who knows what's best for His children.
I'll tell you...I had the best rest ever today! I went into my office...where it's the quietest place of the house and as I laid down on my pillow and curled up in a soft throw...it didn't take long for the eyes to close and the body to go into a deep sleep. About two and a half hours later, I woke up to squirrels in the yard...playing and having a good time, as a soft breeze tossed the trees to and fro. What a great way to be renewed in the presence, of a loving and caring God!
Now, I am enjoying the rest of my day off, as I write to you! When I first sat down here...on a daybed, near the window in my office, I was thinking to myself, on how time has surely changed a lot of things around me. The long and sunny days of summer, have now turned into early evenings of darkness and the trees, whose leaves and branches once blew a cool breeze into an early summer evening, are now bare and no longer active but are now preparing for a long winters nap.
You know...it's not always easy to accept change...especially when it comes into our personal lives; but just think what it would be like, if nothing ever changed. First of all...we wouldn't progress or move forward in life and we wouldn't come to appreciate life in the same way. I don't know about you; but even though change can bring about painful moments in my life, I know that whatever God is up to; He will complete it, as only He can do.
When we give our lives to Jesus, we need to be prepared, for the rough seas and the storms that come our way; but at the same time, we should look beyond the pain and anticipate God's next move...a time, when He takes a painful situation and produces something great and unexpected.
Well...I hope that you have enjoyed this little visit with me tonight! I truly hope and pray that you will have a great nights rest and that your Monday will be filled with the loving and powerful presence of God! Take care and always know that you are in my prayers! Even though I don't know you personally; there is a God, who knows you by name...even before I speak my prayer.
Talk to you soon!
Blessings on your night!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
