Are you lost in a wilderness of despair? Want to know the way out?

Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone! Today, I would like to welcome you back to Moments Spent with God…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I pray that your day is off to a good start and that you will truly feel God walking close beside you, as you go through your day!

You know…I have come to know one thing for sure…God knows the way through the wilderness and all we have to do is follow. I remember going through such hard times, while dealing with a past sexual abuse; that my circumstance actually began to look like a wilderness…and I was lost in the middle of it all. No matter how hard I tried to get out of that dingy wilderness…I just seemed to go in circles…never making any headway at all.

Isn’t it amazing, how we try to force our way through a problem; that we don’t know anything about? I think we become so desperate; that we try to do anything that will free us, from the moments that make us feel so lost and alone…rather than waiting on the One, who knows the way out of these difficult moments.

We need to remember one thing…the more we try to make things work for ourselves…the more lost and alone we are going to feel. Today, we need to turn to a God, who knows the right direction to take in life and the way that can lead us out of darkness.

Just before writing you today, I received some bad news, which became the icing on the cake…of a week that has already felt like one humongous battle with Satan. As I bowed my head…with tears streaming down my cheeks; I began to cry out to the best friend I could ever take my problem to. As I laid each painful moment before God…He began to remind me of the words that He once shared with me…words that said that He would never leave me…words that reminded me, to never give up and finally, words that reminded me; that He was a God that could not fail…only prevail.

After spending these special moments alone with God, I began to feel a strength build back up within me and instead of quitting and going out of my office and into the other room, I reconnected my thoughts back to God instead of my problem and began to write from His heart to mine.

Today, we need to realize that God is the only One, who can lead us out of these moments of distress. How are we ever going to find the way out on our own, when we don’t even know how we got to that difficult place to begin with? I truly believe that when Satan lures us off into the depth of a problem; then we become so engulfed within that problem; that we never really take notice, as to how we got there…all we know; is that we were lead there, through enticing thoughts and deceptive ways.

Are you feeling lost within a circumstance? Through a moment of weakness, did you find that you had been deceived and taken away from life itself; to enter a problem that only kept making you feel more lost and more alone? Turn to God and let Him point the way out of this wilderness, you seem to be lost in…for He knows the way...and all we have to do is follow.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
