Are your problems blocking out the light of God’s presence?

Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone! Happy Friday and welcome to Moments Spent with God…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you decided to stop by for a visit today and my prayer for you; is that you will truly come to experience a love…that longs to be your everything!

Yesterday, I decided to take a little time off and catch up on a few things around my home…and one of those things I really needed to do, was to clean the hard water stains off our front living room window. You think that scrubbing a pan in the kitchen is something…try working with hard water stains.

Anyways…as I began, I was amazed to see how quickly my idea, for cleaning these windows was starting out. In no time at all, I had the whole right side of the window all cleaned and it even looked like a brand new piece of glass…but then trouble came my way, as I faced the worst of the job…the left side of the window.  I knew those water stains were there; but for some reason they just didn’t want to leave their home. I worked and worked and worked and then my husband came out and he joined me. As I was scrubbing away, one of the first thoughts that came to my mind was perseverance…and how we should never give up on something, until we win the battle.

You know…life can be kind of like those hard water stains. The problems we face can seem so deeply embedded within our lives; that we feel as if they will never leave. During times, such as these, we can find it so easy to give up and walk away from life; but one thing we need to remember…when we walk away; then we are handing the victory over to Satan, which in turn will only lead us to more difficult times, as we have now given the control stick to our lives over to him.

Instead of giving up, today we need to keep pursuing a cure…one that will get rid of these deep embedded problems within the heart; so the light of God’s presence can once more shine clearly within us. You know…one thing that I have truly come to see within my own life; is that a deep embedded problem can definitely find a way to block out the light of God’s presence from our hearts, which only keeps us secluded within the darkness of our problems.

Today, if we are ever going to experience the good things of God, while allowing His presence to illuminate the heart; then first, we are going to have to work with God, to rid the heart of these problems; that are staining up the heart and blocking out the view of God’s powerful and loving presence.

You know…Jesus loves us too much, to leave us just as we are! He longs so much to rid us of the problems that are staining the windows of the heart; so that the light of His presence can bring joy and only the good things; that He so longs to offer us. If we are ever going to be free from these problems that are deeply affecting the heart; then we need to not run away from our problems because I guarantee you…that if we do; they will still be there, when we return.

No matter what you’re facing…maybe it’s time to go deep within the heart and work with God, to get rid of the clutter that is blocking Him from entering and doing a great work within you. I truly believe that when we choose to go this route, rather than giving up; then we will not only begin to see His presence shine within the dark moments; but I also believe that He will truly make all things new within the heart!
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
