Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Welcome today, to Moments Spent with God…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I pray that your day is off to a good start and that you will come to truly experience a God, who with one touch…can truly turn your life around forever!

You know…I never thought that I would ever make it in life…let alone be where I am with God right now…and you know what, it’s a good feeling, to look back on my life and see the distance that God has brought me. Sure…there’s always room for more improvement; but the important thing; is to always allow our circumstances to lead us forward into something new, rather than remaining stuck, in the muck and mire of despair.

One thing that I have come to truly believe, over the years of my life; is that our circumstances should always bring about something new and lasting within our lives…like new growth…a greater strength and especially a closer connection with God; otherwise, we find later that all that suffering was for nothing.

Isn’t it amazing how at the moment that we experience deep pain and heartache…we see these difficult moments as times in our lives, when we feel that they will surely bring us down for good… when all along, God has something different planned…something that will help us to grow taller in our faith and gain a strength that we never could have ever imagined.

As I look back on my life, I see times of trial that eventually became branded or etched within my heart… and even to this day, I experience moments like these. I guess that God wants me to never forget the heart that He gave me, through long years of pain and deep heartache…and as long as I’m connected to all that He has done within my life; then I will always have the heart to pass it along.

You know…the moments that make us feel as if we are being punished by God…is actually an opportunity, for Him to make us more like Him and in order to do that; sometimes He has to prune us back to a time, where maybe we took a wrong turn in life or maybe we just didn’t learn what He wanted us to learn…for the journey He’s placed us on.

There have been many times in my life, when I thought of all the difficult moments of the past, as though I had walked through the pits of hell. The pain and deep heartache I experienced was so hard to get through at times; it actually made me feel as if I had been separated from God; but now, as I look back on those times, I see where God had to take me back to moments that needed a repair job or a time, where I needed to start over and begin again…only this time…do it the right way.

No matter what we face in life and no matter how difficult it can seem, we must remember one thing…God isn’t out to destroy us or punish us; but rather, He is out to fix the flaws in our vessels; that could eventually destroy us forever.

You know…it’s so easy to see long moments of pain and heartache, as though God has forsaken us; but just remember one thing…He loves you and sometimes that love has to hurt before it becomes stronger. Hold on and never let go of the One, who is working to make you more and more like Him!
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
