Hello everyone! Welcome today, to Moments Spent with God…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad to have you here today and my prayer for you; is that you will truly find a piece of hope to hold to, while you’re here…a hope that will keep you high above your circumstances!
Well…it’s been a hot summer so far, in the Inland Northwest and I have to admit that there are days, when it’s not always easy to be attached to this laptop…but I’ve learned that through anything I face, I can do all things, with the strength of a mighty God.
Did you know that the greatest test of our faith…and the greatest opportunity for spiritual growth comes when we are facing moments that just seem almost impossible to get through? One thing I have learned through the difficult times I’ve face; is how unlimited my God is. I have seen Him walk me beyond moments that I thought were never possible to get through and I’ve seen how ongoing His strength can be, when I am weakened by a circumstance that just seems to be too much for me to get through on my own.
As I look back on my life, I remember moments that made me feel so helpless and alone…moments that appeared to be taking me further down each day; but then a strong and powerful God stepped in…just at the right moment and reached out to me, with a strength that I had never known and snatched me up…away from the pit I was about to fall into.
Sometimes I wonder how we can say that we believe in God; but yet we are quick to limit Him, by allowing our faith to be shut off, through a heart that seems to think that He can only work so far in our lives. How is it that we see God in this way? Is it because we compare God, to what we experience here on earth? If so, then we need to get more acquainted with God and be open to His ways and just see what He can truly do for us.
You know…when we limit God’s power; then this weakens our faith in God too. In other words, we allow our faith to go to a certain degree and then when our own minds and hearts feel that this is as far as God can possibly work; then our weak faith turns off the valve that controls God’s limitless power. In other words…we are the ones who take control of our own faith; by the way we personally perceive the situation. Once we have allowed a weak faith to turn off the valve that controls the flow of God’s power within us; then we remain where our faith left off.
Today, if we expect to be made whole and experience a power that can truly walk us out of a wilderness of despair; then we are going to have to allow our faith to keep working; so the flow of God’s power can continue to work in our lives, until we have been made completely whole.
No matter what you’re facing today, let your faith take you to a place that is higher than your problems…a place, where’s God’s power flows freely, to all who believe.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
