Hello everyone! I am so happy to have you back with me, on “Moments Spent with God!” One thing I can say today; is that joy definitely comes in the morning! What I mean by that; is that no matter what we go through…a time does come, when a new dawn appears…even after the darkest night.

For those of you who read my writing yesterday, I had been telling you about one of the worst days that I had experienced in a while; but today, I am happy to say that God’s joy definitely reappears, after a day that can seem like an endless night of trial.

You know…there can be times, when we feel as though our moments of affliction will never come to an end. The night of suffering can seem endless and we can feel as if the light of a new dawn will never shine brightly before us again but I’m here to say; that it will happen. Even though we may not know when these difficult moments of darkness will give way to light, we can live with the hope that God will never leave us or forsake us.

I remember many times in my life, when I felt as though I would never see a new dawn again and that can be hard to handle because in my own life, I wanted to keep going and not give in to these moments that seemed so dark; but to be honest with you; that can sometimes be easily said than done.

One thing I did come to see is that the longer we experience a trial; we will come to see with each passing moment; that we can keep going. I remember a time, when I used to feel as if the rope I once held tightly to, had turned into a thread of hope that felt as though it could break at any moment; but the longer I saw myself holding tightly to that last thread of hope; my hope began to grow…just knowing that I had made it that far.

Sometimes, we can find ourselves caught in a web of feelings that stem from a very overwhelming circumstance. We can feel all twisted and caught up in the moments that seem to have no end but one thing I have learned over the years; is the only way we are going to get untangled, from the web that Satan has us caught up in; is when we are willing to focus on where God is taking us through the trial, rather than what has just taken place. So many times, I have come to see within my own life; that the trial only worsened because I had allowed my thoughts and actions to take me there.

Today, as I was preparing to write you, I was listening to a song, titled “Pass Me Not” and a few of the lyrics read… “Pass me not, O gentle Savior, hear my humble cry; while on others Thou art calling, do not pass me by.” You know…when we feel as if the rope of hope; is now a piece of thread that we are dangling from, all we have to do is cry out to God and say… “Lord, while on others thou art calling…please…please…do not pass me by.”

You know…we can feel as if that last thread of hope is about to break but when we choose to seek the help we need, rather than focusing on what could go wrong; that is when I believe that we will find a God that longs to come to us and rescue us, from the moments that attempted to take us down. May you truly find God to be everything you need, during the darkest moment of trial!
Blessings on your day…
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
