Hello everyone and welcome back today, to Moments Spent with God! I pray that your week is off to a great start and that we all will be blessed through this writing…in a way that will help us to begin a new week…with a new hope that can keep us pressing on…no matter what.
You know…it’s not always easy to understand God’s ways. In fact…moments such as these can make us feel, as if we are left in the dark, while we wonder where God went to. We pray and pray but yet, we wonder why God hasn’t answered our prayers.
One thing that I seem to be reminded of more and more; is that God has a plan and a time frame for everything and what we see as a time, when He could easily answer our prayers and make everything perfect…He may see as a time, when it could interrupt or create a problem, in what He truly wants for us. He may have a different idea, as to what He longs to accomplish through these unanswered prayers and He may be putting our prayers on hold, as a means of helping us to learn and grow through them…while learning to lean on Him completely. No matter what…I have come to see that He does want us to leave the situation, with something brand new.
When we are truly living our lives for Christ; but yet our prayers aren’t answered; that doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love us. On the contrary, it does mean that we have become an open target to Satan, as his aim is to keep us down and out of commission with God; but even though we may feel as if Satan has won the battle; God does step in and He does use each moment…of what we see as failure, to make our lives stronger, while drawing us closer and closer to Him.
One thing we must remember and that is to keep on trusting God through the unknown moments and look for His ways to be accomplished according to what He desires for our lives because when we have our minds set on what we feel God will do…while God may have another idea in mind…the change in events can bring about great disappointment, which only makes us feel even more distant from God.
The Bible says that we will share in the sufferings of Christ, if we are truly committed to Him. In fact, when we read the different stories of the Bible…we see that there are many examples of people, who never lived a plush life and truly suffered for His cause. Even though times were hard and very difficult…lessons were learned…people grew stronger in God and in the end…God’s plan was made complete…through His timing and His ways.
We need to remember today; that God sees our lives…so much further down the road; then what we just see before us and this is one of the main reasons why we need to trust God. While we are feeling left in the darkness, with so many questions; God is waiting for us to let Him lead us through that darkness…according to His plan and in His timing.
The question we should ask ourselves today; is are we willing to let go of our own plans…ideas and questions; so we can be open to Him and the desires He has for our lives? When we are willing to leave our problems with God and let go of what we feel should be done; that is when I truly believe that God will step in and begin to show us His true plan for that specific moment in time.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
