Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone! I am so happy to have you back with me today, on Moments Spent with God! My prayer today, is that we will truly find a connection with God; that will carry us through the week ahead!

As I’ve been sitting here in my office, I’ve been thinking back to a time in my life, when I was a child…a time, when I never could even begin to fathom the paths that God would have for me to walk down. Many times, I remember lying out on the grass…watching the clouds go by and never even realizing that someday my life would change in many ways.

One of my favorite Bible verses that has always been of great inspiration to me over the years is found in Ecclesiastes 3:11 and we read… “He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Can you imagine how we would react to life, if we knew what was awaiting us down the road? I think in some instances, we would run and hide, while in other instances, we would truly anticipate the good moments that lie ahead of us.

Just think…God has a plan for each of our lives and He knows every little thing that we will go through in this life and because He is the only one who can foresee the moments that lie ahead of us; this should give us a reason to trust Him more.

I remember a time, when I was thinking deeply on the word trust. You know…it’s so easy to say,  “Lord, I trust you;” but if we were to take the word “trust” a step further, what would we come to understand, through the word “trust?”

Trust to me is not only words but it’s a time, when we look back on our lives and think on moments that could have gone so much worse; then what actually happened…a time, when we see how God never let us down but stepped in and picked up all the broken pieces of our lives and truly made all things new again. When we can look back on these moments in our lives; then I truly believe that these will be the times that will help us to reach out to God once more and put trust into action.

We may not be able to see what lies ahead of us and we may not even understand some of the moments we go through right now; but we can come to lean on a God, who knows the way before us…a God, who can help us to walk beyond these moments; that would otherwise lead us to total destruction. When our love for God becomes greater than the worries and doubts that attempt to stem from these uncertain moments in our lives; then we will find that we can trust that love to walk us through the times that can seem so overpowering before us.

Today, you may fear what lies before you and you may even wonder, if you will ever walk out of the moments that seem too big for you to handle right now; but just know that there is a God, who knows the way before you…a God who loves you so much and will never let you down. Just trust God and once He sees your heart of trust; He will come and take you by the hand and lead you through the moments that just seem too difficult, for you to walk through on your own.
Blessings so much on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
