Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone! I am so happy to have you with me today, on Moments Spent with God! I pray that we all will find a deep connection with God today; that will help us to remain close to Him, during the troubled times!

Today, I have been sitting here in my office…starring out the window and thinking about life. You know…sometimes, the trials and difficult moments we face can make us feel a little rough around the edges. It’s amazing how the trials of this life can affect a love for God; that had at one time, set our heart ablaze for Him.  In fact, we begin to feel as if we just came home, from a long drawn out battle that took us down and made us feel as if we had lost everything within us; that kept us full of life.

You know…Jesus never said that life would be easy but He did say that He would be here for us. Could it be that we are running on low because we lost our connection, with our first love? Oh how we need to remain connected to that perfect love; that can truly keep us distant from the problem, while keeping us more deeply connected and strengthened in God.

Many times, I have seen my connection with God, as though I am actually plugged into Him. As long as I am plugged into God; then I will draw from His benefits and all that is within Him; but if I choose to unplug myself from God and plug myself into a problem that is standing before me; then I am only going to reap from the symptoms of that problem, which could be fear…doubt or any other negative thing.

I think that there can be times, while walking through a heated battle with evil; that we may feel the need to know every detail of the problem and where it may be leading us; so we tend to unplug ourselves from God and instead…plug ourselves into the problem. Little do we know; that while we are unplugged from God and plugged into the problem; we are being drained from God’s perfect strength and the positive thoughts and feelings that can keep us standing strong.

I have come to see throughout my life; that nothing can give us what we truly need…like the moments, when we are plugged into God. You may ask me today…what does it truly mean, when a person is plugged into God? To me, it’s a time, when our love for God becomes so rich and perfect; that these moments cause us to automatically plug ourselves into Him, through a heart of trust and belief. When we have reached that place, where all we think about is God and the love we have for Him; then nothing will ever be able to sever or disconnect us, from a God of great love and power.

Are you feeling weak? Have the battles in your life become too much to bear? Plug into a God, whose love and mighty power, will keep you standing strong…a God, who will fight these battles for you and keep you strengthened…even through the worst of times.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
