Hello everyone! I’m so glad you came today, to visit me on Moments Spent with God! Today, I pray that we all will find a piece of hope to hold to…hope that will keep us high above the circumstances we face in life!
Lately, I have been doing some new work on the website and with my books. What seemed to be a simple task has now turned into a heavy work load; but no matter what I have to face…I would rather follow God’s plan for my life and this ministry, rather than the easy way out.
As I have been working to change my name to Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain, I have also had Satan playing with my thoughts, while attempting to discourage me and convince me; that this new work won’t achieve anything but failure.
While working this afternoon on my books, I decided to listen to some music on my headset and I found a song, titled “Unfinished” and it was saying that at the moment, when we feel the most discouraged and defeated; that could actually be the time, when God is still at work in our life.
You know…we need to realize that when God starts something good in our lives…He is going to complete it because He cannot be defeated. Every time I think that God has brought me to where He is finished with me…I see more coming my way. In fact, I see my life as a puzzle and God has some of the pieces in place…but the full story isn’t known yet because He’s still working, to complete the missing pieces, of His plan for my life.
Today, you may wonder why life doesn’t always go your way and you may feel discouraged because you feel like nothing is ever going to go right again in your life. Maybe we both need to just wait a little bit longer and give God a chance to complete what He has started within our lives.
One thing we must remember is this…if we aren’t willing to wait on God and let Him complete His work; then we just might miss out, on the very special thing that He has for our lives. We must realize that anything that needs to be repaired or have added to our lives is going to take a little time and God’s aim isn’t to give us second best…but to give us His very best.
Words of deceit…that come from the heart of evil can sometimes be so powerful and overwhelming but we must remember that these words are only meant to bring us further down. If we are ever going to achieve the things that God longs to do in our lives; then sometimes we just need to wait on Him and be patient.
I have found that walking in God’s footsteps can sometimes be a slow journey…a journey that can bring moments of hopelessness and doubt into our lives; but when we can walk beyond these feelings and truly believe in our hearts that God will make all things new again; then we will find it easier to wait on Him, while He completes the work that He first started within us.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
