Hello everyone! I’m so glad that you decided to join me today, on Moments Spent with God! I just love these quiet moments, as I sit and write the words that God shares with my heart! I pray today that we all will truly be blessed and uplifted and brought closer to the heart of God, through each word that God gives me today!
I don’t know how your Monday went but mine was its very best! I just recently started a brand new project for the ministry, which I should be sharing with you soon and I have to admit that I was a little hesitant, on how this project was going to work…especially since I had never done anything like this before.
Anyways…as I started my work, I was focusing deeply on what I was doing, while seeking God, for the answers to how this was all going to come together. I would say that within an hour or two, everything fell into place and I could truly feel the hand of God taking charge, as I walked right behind Him throughout the afternoon.
I guess what I’m trying to say today; is that we can truly accomplish anything in our lives…no matter what it may be, when we are walking in sync with God. One thing I have come to see throughout my life; is that the words “I can’t;” truly becomes a road block that keeps God from showing us that we can truly do all things through Him.
One thing I learned yesterday; is that we must first admit that we can’t make something work on our own. A humble heart will truly become a heart that opens itself up to the presence of God, where He can step in and do something through us; that we could have never done on our own.
You know…sometimes, we as humans have a difficult time admitting that we can’t do something for ourselves. I guess we look at it as not only a form of weakness; but a sign that we just might be right around the corner, from feeling like a total failure.
One thing we must remember though; is that sometimes we can find ourselves facing more heartache and frustration, when we try to make something work on our own, without God being there to help us. Look at it this way…it’s as if we have a piece of a puzzle that won’t fit where we’d like it to be; but we are determined to make it fit anyway. The only problem with that; is when we finally discover a way to make it fit, we will come to see that the picture doesn’t appear the way it should truly be.
You know…maybe it’s not always easy to admit, when we can’t always accomplish something, in the way we’d like to; but I have come to see that it’s even worse, when we leave God out of these moments. With God’s help, we can come to truly see these special moments spent with God, as a time of learning and new growth…a time, when we can truly accomplish all things through Him.
When is the last time your heart has laid out a welcome mat for God to come in and do a great work within you? You know…it’s not too late to get rid of the clutter and welcome Him in!
Blessings on your day…
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
