Hello everyone! I hope that your Wednesday is off to a great start and that you will truly be blessed by God, as we spend some special moments with Him today!
As I’ve been sitting here…thinking on what God would have me to share with you today, my mind began to think on how our trials actually point us in the direction of God. You know…we can feel like our circumstances are taking us down or off the beaten path but if we were to just stop and think about it, I think that we would all agree that these difficult moments actually nudge us in God’s direction.
I don’t know about you but when I look back on all that I have been through; I remember times, when I actually felt as though these moments of pain and heartache I experienced, were going to take me over a cliff to total destruction; but when I take a second look back into the past, I see moments, when I learned to lean on God and cry out to Him for help. In other words, the trials I went through actually taught me to let go of myself and the problem and turn to a source that would be the only One, who could walk me out of a deep dark wilderness of despair.
You know…when there is nothing left to hold to…there is grace…a grace that can take over, when strength is gone and when there is no more light of hope shining before us. How many times, do we look into the face of what seems to be the impossible; only to believe what we see standing before us. Maybe it’s time to look above the impossible moments and allow our trials to be used within our lives, rather than allowing Satan to use them against us, as some form of abuse.
I remember many times, when I felt as though I would never come out of the muck and mire of my problems. I just couldn’t understand why God would allow so much pain and heartache to enter my life…that is, until I began to see how He was working through the pain to bring about something greater. You know…I think that we get too caught up, in what is happening; that before we know it, we allow these moments to have control, rather than allowing God to work through them. If we could just look beyond the problem and see what God may be up to; then I think that we would come to see a God, who is gradually building us up and making us stronger through the trial.
If we were to stop and think about it today; our trials have to point us to something better; otherwise God will become a defeated God and we all know that this just can’t happen. You know…Jesus didn’t die on an old rugged cross, to defeat Satan and then turn around and become a defeated God in our lives.
Let’s face it…no matter what we’re experiencing at the time, it can almost be impossible to see anything good, out of these difficult moments we’re walking through; but let me encourage you today…just as God encouraged me, many years ago; and that is to look for His presence, through the sunlight by day and the moonlight by night. When we find ourselves focusing more on where God is…in all that we’re experiencing at the time; then the light of His presence will penetrate the darkness and give us that nudge we need, to walk us out of these dark moments of despair.
I pray that you will be able to find the strength to look beyond your problems and see what God may be up to, in your life today!
Have a great day & God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
