When there are no words to say...only thoughts that keep reminding us of a broken moment in our lives; God will read what has been etched upon our hearts through these broken moments and will step in and make a way for us.
The road of pain and heartache may not be an easy one but when we see God as someone that is always greater than any obstacle that may enter our path; then we will be less attached to the problem, while being drawn closer to God. Is the direction we're heading in, during difficult times of affliction; leading us further away from the world, to a permanent residence in Heaven? At times the steps may be painful but the loss we experience now, will allow us to gain so much more later.
Do we truly know God or do we just know of Him? It's good to know of Him but to know Him can bring about so much more within our lives. Have we allowed our faith to become the giant that stands before our problems or have we allowed our problems to become the giant that causes us to wallow beneath a weak faith?
Have we severed our connection with God through a two-sided relationship? In other words...are we begging for His help at one moment, while turning away to a life of our own choosing the next moment? Is fear, doubt or any other negative feeling leading us away from God, while taking control of our lives? If so...let me give you the remedy to your problem. All you need is a large dose of God's perfect love.
Are we walking down a path that coincides with God's plan for our lives? The path may not always seem right to us and we may find it to be a difficult path to walk down but once we get over every obstacle, we will find that the path led us straight to God's perfect plan for our lives. Are we allowing God to mend the broken pieces of our hearts or are we trying to cover up the broken pieces, with a materialistic mask?
Rising above the fog of despair, will give us a clearer vision; so we can understand the reason why these difficult moments are being allowed into our lives. |
Walking through a fiery trial may seem painful but just knowing that God is there to walk with us through these painful moments, will comfort and sustain us, until we have been refined and made new once more.
Are we waiting for the perfect moment, to truly believe in the power of God or are we living on faith...knowing that we serve a God that will never fail us? Why do we turn to our problems for help...a problem that can't understand what we are going through or fix itself, when there is a God that has had first hand experience, when it comes to pain, heartache and loneliness...a God that can become the remedy to what we may be facing?
The battles we face in life may never be easy ones but when we focus on our commanding officer (Jesus Christ); we will come through the difficult moments and experience victory rather than defeat. Whose hand are we holding tightly to today? If we are holding tightly to the hand of a problem; then we will only find that we are being led in a direction that will only allow us to connect with other problems.
Are we suffering needlessly because we have chosen to hold tightly to a problem that cannot fix itself? We must remember that God can only come to our rescue, when we are willing to humble ourselves and admit that we cannot fix the problem on our own. What we believe in, will become the road we walk down. When we allow our faith to take our thoughts above a difficult problem; then the moments of despair, will be exchanged for a path that will lead us closer to God and further away from a pit of destruction.
Moving forward means striving towards God's best, rather than giving into what is before us. God walks beyond our faults, to forgive us and see the need of our hearts; so why do we allow ourselves to remain attached to a sin that no longer exists in the eyes of God?
Satan may throw us into a prison cell of despair but there's good news because God holds the key that Satan thought he had control over...the key that can free us and release us from despair. |
