Hello everyone…and a happy and very blessed Monday to you all! I truly hope and pray that your day is going well…and that you will come to see more and more; that the only way to walk through a week; is when God is leading the way…Amen!!
Lately, I have had one thing on my mind…and as I’ve been sitting here thinking on it…a question came to my thoughts. Can we honestly say that we have truly allowed God to lead the way before us? Sometimes, we can experience moments, when we think we know what God wants for us…or we can become so wrapped up in what is happening around us; that we begin to predetermine what is best for us, rather than allowing God to be the caregiver of our lives. Through time, I have come to see that I not only need God’s wisdom, to carry me through the hard and difficult times of life; but I also need His discernment; so that I can make sure that the path I’m walking on is filled with His truth. In Hosea 14:9, we read… “Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.” So many times we can allow our own knowledge to get in the way of God’s wisdom…and one thing I can tell you for sure…if we don’t have God’s wisdom; then we will not know which way to turn or even know the path that can keep us closer to Him and further away from despair. Also, when we allow our own knowledge and opinions to get in the way of God’s true wisdom; then God’s word even becomes distorted, which makes it even more difficult to escape these difficult times we face. I have truly come to see that if we long to live well and walk the paths that will keep us away from the traps that Satan sets out for us; then first, we need to have God’s understanding of the situation, rather than our own. Think about it…we run to God for help because we don’t have the wisdom, as to how to fix the problem; but yet, we tend to turn around and allow our own thoughts to become a road block that pushes God out of the situation. Each day, we need to remember that it’s only God’s path that will keep us free from despair…and it’s only God’s path that will cause us to continually lean on Him, rather than trying to depend on our own ideas…of how to get to the right place in life. When we come to realize that God’s path of truth will always be the right direction to head in; that is when we will find life to be easier…even when it’s not easy. As long as we continue to go our own way…and as long as we allow our own knowledge of life, to be a substitute for God’s true wisdom; that is when the way before us will only worsen with time, while the road before us will only continue to remain crooked and filled with obstacles and traps; that will only keep us closely connected to the circumstance and Satan’s control. Let’s face it…we don’t know where we’re headed…and we definitely don’t know what’s up ahead of us; so maybe it’s time for us to quit trying to play God and let God be who He truly is…a God of great wisdom…a God who knows the way before us and especially…a God who can care for us and lead us in steps that will allow us to experience His very best…Amen!! Have a very blessed day…take care and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers each day! God bless! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
