Hello everyone…and how is your day going? I am praying for all of us; that God would be ever near, during these difficult times we’re facing…and even more, I am praying that we will continue to feel drawn even closer to God, rather than all that is taking place around us…Amen!
You know…a crisis like the Coronavirus can be so ongoing; that before we know it…we find ourselves captivated within the intensity of what is happening around us…to the place where we feel as if we have been brought to a dead end road…a place where we can no longer see the way before us…and moments such as these can be scary, while we wonder how we will ever find the way that can lead us out of these moments despair.
A Bible verse that has truly brought hope to me, during similar times such as these; is found in Isaiah 43:19…and we read… “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
You know…these uncertain moments of the Coronavirus can make us feel, as if we have entered a barren desert…a place where life can feel as if it has been brought to a sudden halt. We can be so focused on moments such as these; that before we know it…we find ourselves giving up and into what is taking place around us.
Today I would like to give you a piece of hope to hold to…and that is that God is a God of impossibilities…a God who can take a dead end moment…or a place where life no longer is the way it once was and cause something new to take place in the midst of it all.
Many years back… the beauty of a new day had suddenly put me at a dead end street, while feeling surrounded by nothing except for the problems I was facing at the time. At one point, I can say that I absolutely couldn’t see how I was going to find that path that could lead me out of those moments of despair; but you know what…even though I couldn’t see the path, God could…and with time, He did make a way, which made those moments feel as if something new had begun to spring up within those dry and barren moments.
You know…just because everything around us is making us feel as if we have come to a dead end street of no hope; doesn’t mean that this is the way it will always be; for I know a God that not only has control over everything that is taking place; but I also know a God who can carve a new path to walk down, when life seems to have come to a dead end.
Maybe life isn’t the way it used to be; but that doesn’t mean that God has walked away…to abandon you and leave you, in the midst of what you may see right now as a dead end crisis. In fact, we read in I Peter 5:7b that “he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.”
No matter what you may be feeling today, don’t allow it to take you to a dead end place of no hope; but rather, cling to the words in Isaiah 43:19, which says… “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
As we close our time together, may I encourage you to not look back to what used to be; but look for something new…something that can spring up and give you life anew, even in the midst of what seems to be the most dead end and barren moment of your life…Amen!!
Today, I pray that your day will be truly blessed…and may you come to experience a God that can make a way for you, even when you just can’t see the way before you.
Many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
