![]() Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! I truly pray that your day is off to a great start…and that you will come to discover a true connection with God each day…one that can truly keep you distant, from the difficult moments of despair…AMEN!! As you can see…I am doing something a little different this morning. God and I thought that since it was Friday; that we would put up a cute thought for the day…so as you can see on your screen…today’s thought reads… “Are we having a bad connection with a circumstance or a clear connection with God?” For me, this is an older thought…that I wrote many years back…but no matter how old it may be…the thought still remains alive…and gives us something to think about at the same time. One thing I can say about the writing I do for God; is that every thought and feeling has stemmed from many painful moments in my life. You know…many go to school and college, to learn and become something in life; but that wasn’t what God had planned for me. In fact…my schooling came through 21knee surgeries…a painful past…sexual abuse…and the loss of many things, including children. Right about now, you are probably asking yourself…how did she survive all of that…and my answer to you; is that I came to have a clear and close connection with God…one that truly separated me, from every one of these circumstances…praise Him!! As we continue on…let’s imagine that a call is ringing in on our phones. We look at the screen on our phones and we see that this may not be a good call; but we choose to answer it anyways. Once we connect with the person who is calling us; we soon reap what they longed to convey to us. In a similar way…when we choose to answer the wrong call within our lives…we also find that our connection with God becomes distant…more distorted and filled with static. If we are going to truly experience God, during these troubling times; then we need to hang up on the thoughts that evil is attempting to convey to us; so we can clearly listen to God…and all He longs to do, to help us. In James 4:8a, we read… “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.” This morning, I think God is giving us all a gentle reminder, as to how we can remain distant from needless suffering…but that can only happen, when we choose to pick up on God’s calling for our lives, rather than connecting with the problem. Don’t we realize that we could experience more peace, even during the troubled moments of life…if we would just only listen to God? I truly believe that when we are experiencing static, in our connection with Him; it is only because we are listening too much to the problem. We can’t listen in on two calls at the same time…and get the gist of it all. We will either choose to connect ourselves with God or the problem. As we walk down the difficult paths of life…a phone call is going to ring into our hearts from God…a call that can truly turn the difficult moments around completely. Ask yourself today… “Are you ready to answer His call?” Well…I have truly enjoyed another great morning with you…and my prayer is that we will hang up, on the one who is attempting to lock us into despair; that we may truly answer a call that can change our lives forever…Amen!! Have a great Friday…take care and I will hope to be with you soon! Many…many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
