Good evening everyone! Tonight, I just thought I'd stop by and share my heart with you. Today has been a difficult day for me...as I have been going through chronic pain...pretty much straight, for the past few days. You know...some people have pain and take an aspirin or some other kind of medication and it goes away...but as some of you chronic pain sufferers know...it's not always that easy with someone experiencing chronic pain.
Tonight, as I've been sitting here...God has taken me to a Bible verse in Revelation 21:4, which says... "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." I'll tell you...the only hope that keeps me moving straight ahead; is the hope that these difficult moments won't last forever...for there will come a day, when all these painful moments will become a thing of the past...and God will wipe the final tear from our eyes...and that will be the end of that!
I guess sometimes, we just need to keep our focus on this prize that's awaiting us, rather than what we may be facing at the time. I'll be honest...it's not always easy, is it? But when we choose to do so; then Satan is the one that loses out...not us. In fact, this is one reason why I came on here tonight; so I could take the thorn that Satan has afflicted me with and give it back to him.
Through most of my life, I have come to see that when we succumb to these difficult moments; then we are letting Satan win; but when we press on...despite these painful moments that attempt to take us down and out of commission with God; then we are truly overcomers through Christ.
May I encourage you, to never give in and let Satan win; but rather, let God help you to rise above these moments of despair; that you may be drawn closer to Him, through the hard and difficult times.
As I close this day...I pray that God would encircle us all and surround us with a perfect peace that can bring relief, from the struggles and challenges of this life...and that we may rest in His loving arms...loved and protected, by a God who is more than able to do all things...Amen!
May God truly bless you throughout the night, until He brings you safely into another new dawn!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
