Hello everyone...and a "Happy Monday" to you! What a beautiful day here, in the Inland Northwest! Today...I praise God for new beginnings...where the struggles and challenges of yesterday have been wiped clean from my life; so I can begin anew!
When I see a picture, with a rainbow in it...like this one today; this takes me back to a time...just before I began to serve God. My husband and I were out in a field...walking our dogs, when all of a sudden, a rainbow appeared in the sky. I would say that within minutes of that taking place...another rainbow formed in the sky, which made it a double rainbow. As I became caught up in that moment...my eyes began to drift down to the ground...where the colors of the rainbow had now crossed my feet. I had never seen anything like this before; but as I look back to that time...many years back; I see it as a promise from God...a promise that He would bring me through the unexpected moments that awaited me.
Later...I went through many knee surgeries and several years of counseling, for sexual abuse as a child...plus counseling, for a past dysfunctional home life. You know...I never knew that these moments were about to bring me down for a while...but God did; because He had a plan for my life. No matter how painful those moments were...God stood on His promises to me and was faithful...as I have now overcome those hard and difficult moments in my life...to now serve Him.
You know...it doesn't matter what God allows in our lives...and how painful it may seem at the time; because He does have control over it all...and has promised to never leave us or forsake us during these difficult moments; so no matter what you may be facing right now; remember that even though we may be unfaithful during the difficult times...He will remain faithful until the trial has come to an end...believe me, I know!
I pray that as you walk through your day; that you will truly feel the loving presence of God ever near...and that you will be able to find the strength through Him, to bypass the negative feelings that stem from the difficult times...to truly come and see how faithful God can be within your life!
Have a great Monday in the Lord...and God bless...Diane
