Happy Saturday everyone! Today, I would like to share one of my favorite photos. Actually, this was a picture I took several years ago, of a pregnant doe, as she rested under a pine tree.
There was a time, when my husband would walk our dogs through this field...and at this particular time, I had decided to join him.
Before leaving the house, he stuck a bag of cut up carrots in his back pocket and as we walked around a little trail in this field; the deer would follow him. It was an amazing site...as the golfers on the other side of the field would stand in amazement, as to what was taking place.
At the time, we had a dog named Jack and Keith had taught him, to not chase the deer...and he never did...and what was even more amazing; is that the deer were not afraid of Jack.
Whenever I look at this picture...I not only remember the good memories I cherish from this time in my life; but I remember a peaceful moment that not only became a photo on paper...but a photo within the file box of my mind.
You know...sometimes we can become so caught up, in what has gone wrong in our lives; that these moments seem to camouflage the good memories we once held within our hearts and minds.
No matter  what you are facing right now...never allow these moments to erase or cover up the good moments you once experienced in your life; but rather, let the good thoughts shine through and be the hope that can help you to anticipate, even better things to come!
